Perfection
Easy to put together, did it in 30mins without using the instructions. Fit the bed perfectly. Very sturdy! Perfect height for turning my toddlers bed into a full bed without the fall risk!

Excellent Quality & Easy to Assemble
I purchased this to replace a cheap wood slat-and-tape situation that had fallen apart. This was the perfect size and price, so I purchased. It was very easy for my husband and I to assemble in about 30 minutes. The frame has sturdy velcro siding to keep the slats in place and protect your mattress from popping through any irregular openings between slats. The spaces between the slats are also under 3 inches, necessary to keep our mattress warranty active.

King size Malm (ikea) + sleep number mattress + these slats = :)
I bought a king size Malm bed from ikea and didn’t feel their slat options would be supportive enough, so I ordered this. Honestly the box arrived a bit damaged, but everything inside was for the most part okay. The slats were super easy to assemble, I did it all by myself and it was pretty fast and simple. I had purchased a Zinus bed previously and was happy that the assemble of these slats was just as simple and easy. These fit inside the Malm bed, but it’s not as snug as I wanted it to be, so I actually cut a chunk of styrofoam from another package we had ordered and placed it in the gap between the metal frame of this and the edge of the bed frame. It works great, and will hopefully keep it from sliding, moving, or anything if the sort. I’d rather have it have extra space that needs filled than be too big and not fit, so no complaints. We have an old sleep number mattress, and these slats seem to be supportive enough. I know it’s not made for that kind of mattress, and technically the slats aren’t as close as is recommended, but finding something supportive enough, other than putting down straight up plywood, is tough. This does the job. The mattress is old, so I’m not worried about the warranty—I think technically the slats should be two inches apart or closer? This is over two but less than three (I didn’t measure). Using these slats with our sleep number mattress hasn’t been an issue. We’ve been sleeping on the combo for about a week and it’s nice and comfy! The slats at first seemed maybe a little flimsy? But once we put the mattress on, it feels nice and solid. I’m glad we purchased!

Exactly what I had hoped for
I installed this in the overhead sleeping section of an RV. It gets the mattress up off the deck and reduced condensation under the mattress. Perfect solution. The product was quality and simple to assemble. I recommend.

Easy 5 Stars!
I don't hand out 5 star reviews often, almost never. This was an excellent experience! I purchased this frame to convert my existing full size frame, so I could lower the height of the bed for my mother, which recently broke her hip. The package arrived very quickly in excellent condition. I used a razor blade to cut along the tape, length wise, to open the box on the ground, instead of opening an end and pulling everything out. I found that to be the best way to do it, for me, as all the pieces were visible and clearly marked, as it sat in the open box on the floor. The Zinus numbering system is great! I didn't even need to look at the directions, except to verify inventory. Just match the numbers and assemble. I found it easier to start by laying one of the long rails on top of my existing frame and assemble in place. This allowed me, not only to keep the Zinus rails in place, but also verify sizing - which was a perfect fit in my case! Zinus makes assembly simple! They even included a mini ratchet along with the allen wrench, so no need for any other tools. I found the hardware included was excellent quality, already pre-fitted with washers and lock washers to keep the frame nice and tight, when assembled properly. It comes with two sets of pre-folded wooden slats that are already fitted with pre-positioned velcro fasteners. What could be easier! All you have to do is line up the first slat with the velcro, already in place, on one end of the frame; it doesn't matter which end, then move down the frame to the center, applying each slat in place. Each group of slats are held in alignment with one long strip of velcro, along each end of the slats. So, their is no measuring, no fuss. In a few minutes, it was all assembled! A few extra tips: 1. My original frame was a 3/4 frame, so it's not all boxed in for this insert to sit on top of. I just drilled one pilot hole on each side of the foot end of my existing frame, then used one self tapping metal screw, to secure the frame and the insert in place. This is only a safety precaution to prevent the new metal insert from sliding forward on top of the existing frame. I'm not sure this would ever happen, but better safe than sorry. 2. When placing the second set of slats down, I started at the other end of the insert frame and worked my way to the middle. Alignment of the slats came out perfect! Just don't forget to step out from the middle of the insert frame, to place the last slat in place! Zinus also includes detailed instructions, along with a couple extra bolts, which I did not need to use! The quality, simplicity and intuitive design easily earns this product 5 stars. I really couldn't be happier!

Very happy with the purchase. I bought this one in Queen size - fit perfectly in my bed. The frame is very sturdy, easy to assemble even by one 5'3" woman. The instruction diagram would make you believe that there is an assembling sequence - there isn't. I recommend to connect/insert horizonal sides into vertical ones at all corners first and then start putting in the bolts and tightening them. I attempted following the apparent sequence and ended up having hard time to connect the last two corners. I had to remove the bolts, connect all corners and then everything went nicely and very fast. It is great that there is a middle support bar. Otherwise, I would be worried about the slats. The slats are nice and velcro strip assures no movement on the frame. However, if you are heavy, expect the slats to give in under your weight resulting in the mattress bending slightly in those areas. Slats won't break though. I am 235lbs and I have no reservations getting in the bed, out or turning or even pushing myself up from the belly sleeping position with the hands. I am, however, talking about180 lbs in the title because if there are two of you, I am not sure if the slats will hold the weight. Middle support bar will help but not sure if it will save at 360lbs combined weight. Highly recommended solution for high mattresses and to lower overall bed height. My old box spring made the bed so high that getting in bed started to resemble vault or long jumping. I was seriously considering a step stool to get into the bed. Now I sleep much better and making the bed is a breathe too. Enjoy yours!

I purchased these slats to use as a "frame" for my baby's floor bed. We have it pushed to a corner of the bedroom, and surrounded the remaining two sides with very firm patio/couch cushions as a protection in case baby rolls around. It was super easy to assemble and probably great quality. Saying this because it's my 2nd Zinus bedframe. I purchased another one in 2019 and used it for a few years! I'm only no longer using that one because I moved. But it always provided fantastic support for my mattress, especially compared to some cheaper Ikea slats that I've used in the past that always feel like you're sinking in the middle. Although it should be noted that we are not heavy/large people (<130lb each).

I'm so pleased with this product. It is extremely well thought through. Easy to assemble thank to the little key provided with the package and a comprehensive manual. The elements are numbered to so you know how to connect them. The frame and slats have Velcro tape so the board is sturdy. All the Styrofoam elements are wrapped in plastic so there is no mess after assembling. Fits our child's bed perfectly. I couldn't expect more.

Just installed this Bunkie Board. Really easy to put together. A child could do it. Even comes with a ratcheted driver for the screws. Wood all consistent size and supports a full mattress 14 inches deep. All wood strung together with a Velcro strap that adheres to the reverse Velcro along the metal frame. The only issue that I encountered was one piece on the end of the Velcro strap was short by two inches so the wood piece was angled. I just cut the Velcro and adhered the rest of the Velcro attached to the piece of wood to the other Velcro on the frame. Didn't cause any real issue. Manufacturer should look into that. Mattress isn't sagging through the between spaces of the board supports. Don't hear any squeaking or noise at all from the board while moving around on the mattress. On the whole so far pleased with purchase. I guess the real test will be in a couple of years and if the frame holds out.

Made my firm mattress even firmer, despite already having a box spring. I only had 4 slats in my bedframe previously and it bothered me. Assembly a breeze. I didn't use the sticky tape for the box spring (or mattress whichever you're putting on it), as I have bed bug encasements on them. It makes a bit of noise when getting in bed only because it's a floating frame so it may knock against the bedframe. I put large felt stoppers (like the kind you put on your chairs to prevent floor scratches) on the interior corners of the bedframe to mitigate that.
