Assembled Quick Click Dust Separator with 12 Gallon Locking Collection Bin and Air Relief

It works, and can quickly pay for itself in filter $ & time saved. I mounted it on top of a big shop vac to keep everything compact. From everyday shop cleaning, to power tool dust collection, sucking up minor remodeling demolition, and even drywall sanding dust, this cyclone collects a ton of stuff! Even after emptying the full the collection pail five times, the shop vac suction hasn't changed. Only because I was curious, I finally checked the shop vac filter and there was almost nothing on it or sitting in the bottom bin.

What a difference this thing made in my wood shop!! The cnc machine makes a lot of dust and this thing is great at collecting it! If you have a wood shop, you need one of these.

Really works great.. it does what it says. 99% of the dust is caught. Saves your back filter for sure and keeps room clean while cutting wood. Well worth it good quality fair price. Beware ⚠️ of the other ones different design, the more flat type. You need the high version like this To get the cyclone effect and dust seperation. I bought the longer hose and attachment kit separate.

I first bought an Onieda dust deputy plus, after numerous attempts to connect their lid to a bucket & connect vacuum hoses to their odd ball hose adaptors I gave up & sent it back. Then I purchased the Cen-tec assembled Quick Click dust separator. What a great product, every thing fit like it is supposed to, it fit the wet / dry vacuum hoses to a tee. It works fantastic (very little saw dust gets past the separator to the vacuum.

I received a previously used item that was filthy. In addition, the item was improperly assembled and required being disassembled and put back together properly. I have not used it yet, but my initial impression is that the airflow is inferior to Oneida’s version.

This Assembled Quick Click Dust Separator with 5 Gallon Locking Collection Bin from Cen-Tec Systems was my choice, after researching the different types and prices. It works great right out of the box, as no assembly is required. To make it mobile, I mounted it on the top shelf of a small-ish tool cart from HF by first screwing down a spare 5-gallon bucket to a piece of plywood and affixing that to the cart. A small shop vac sits nicely on the bottom shelf. I reasoned that that arrangement would allow me to drop the dust separator into the additional bucket (for stability) but be able to remove it for emptying. As it turned out, the fit was so close the dust separator wouldn't lift out easily, but a few "breather" hole drilled into the bottom edge of the sides of the affixed bucket broke the vacuum and allowed the dust separator to be removed with no issue. This separator works very well and isn't very noisy. If you also add a hose holder of some kind below the handle of the shop cart, you can hang up a 20-foot vacuum hose. With ease of movement and that long hose, I can quickly hook up any of my shop tools that need dust extraction. I think you would really find this Cen-Tec separator a good addition to your shop. It might seem a little pricey but with the locking 5 gallon "bin" it is a perfect option for me. Very highly recommended. Hope this helps!!

Various attachments were included to help attach/fit to our old shop vac. It worked as described. One suggestion to make it even better would be an option to have wheels on the base container. Thanks for a great solution that we didn’t have to build!

only got one of those two black things, not even described in the pamphlet! and you forgot to mention that a hose is need to be purchased separately, doing that today. I'll keep this thing, looks like it should work!

Works as advertised with my large shop vac.

I used to have a big dust system but now I have a small shop so I used my vacuum. It was a pain dumping it. So I bought the con-tec system. The suction now is so low that my shop is very dusty and I am constantly vacuuming. Also I can't use it on my planer as the suction is so low it just plugs up. Back to using the vacuum
