The White Castle packs an incredible amount of strategy into a surprisingly small box. Every turn presents meaningful choices, and the game does a great job of rewarding careful planning and efficient play. With so few actions available, every decision matters. The dice placement system is elegant, the artwork is beautiful, and the production quality is excellent. Games move quickly, but you'll find yourself thinking about your strategy long after the final score is tallied. If you enjoy thoughtful Euro games with tight resource management and plenty of replayability, The White Castle is an outstanding addition to any collection. It's one of those games that gets better with every play.

A top quality board game that is beautifully designed. It is really a brilliantly polished product. No fat and no move should be wasted. Only nine turns per player in every game, so think carefully where to put that die. Makes you come for more. It is crunchy and can be seen as hard to get at first but once you get a grasp on the rules you won’t need to read them every time you play it. We love it and the solo mode is also very well done!

I wasnt sure what i was getting into when i bought this from one of my favorite publishers, but i gotna quality game! It has a great solo mode sonce i end up playing alone most of the time. Quality of pieces inside were awesome and they certainly know how to fit a lot of stuff into a small box. Everything JUST fit inside.

White castle is the tighest and most fun new game I've played last year, and it comes in a package so well designed that you'll have to make sure to pack only one of the several language rulebooks it comes with. The games are quick yet action packed, and have tought me what I appear to most value in games are impressive combos. Highly recommended!

I've now played this game five times and everyone who has played it has given it a big "thumbs up!" It's immensely replayable and there is a lot of satisfaction in playing a combination of actions that give you a big reward. The production quality is superb and as an added bonus, the box is very small, so it leaves me room for more games on my shelves!

Arrived in perfect condition with shrink wrap. A gift for my board gamer husband and he was thrilled to get it! Arrived exactly when stated. He immediately cleared the table on the holiday to set it up and play.

Arrived quickly and was very well packaged. This is a really fun game, but I would say it’s better suited for experienced board game players. If you’re just getting into the hobby, I’d recommend starting with something a little more accessible and working your way up to this one. The quality is what I’ve come to expect from DEVIR games: mostly cardboard and wooden components, but everything feels well made and nicely finished. The instructions are also available in several European languages, including English, French, Spanish, and German. It’s a worker-placement game with resource management and strategic decision-making. Overall, a very enjoyable game if you already have some experience with modern euro-board games!
