Kept me going
I bought a beginner (hint) set from Yamaha - and while the violin was beautiful the Rosin and bow was not. I obviously didn't know this at the time (hint = I'm a beginner) and I almost gave up the violin! Producing a sound was really difficult, especially coupled with learning wrist motions, arm, and shoulder movements + finger placements. It occurred to me to switch the bow! It got here and I used the same rosin that came with the Yamaha set, and I almost gave up on rosing it as well! It just wouldn't STICK! Then I threw all my faith into the rosin that came with my very first set (it cost total of $110), which turned out to be VASTLY superior to the one that came with the Yamaha set for 8x the cost. This bow took the rosin like a champ and produced WAYY better sound. My joy and enthusiasm for taking up the violin is back and I'm excited to focus on other things besides pressing the bow hard enough (now it just glides). To all the other fellow beginners out there, this bow is great! Very little bouncing and looks very nice. But just as important is the rosin so don't forget to pick some up!

We got this as a slight step up over the ever popular Fiddlerman Carbon Fiber bow (this is the Carbon Fiber “WEAVE”). The advanced intermediate fiddler this was purchased for found the bow to be “lively and fun”. Coming from fiberglass and inexpensive wooden bows this bow was found to be much more responsive and complimented his playing. A couple hairs did break the first day but otherwise the hair seemed to have nice “bite” and took rosin well. The tension adjustment operated smoothly and had more than adequate range of adjustment. The bow has been played daily for about a month now and there has been no issue. All in all this a great deal on a decent bow with nice fit and finish.

Upgraded to 5
For the price. It's a great bow. Gave it a lower stat at first because it had no rosin. So no sound. I didn't realize being a violin noob that freshly haired bows have no rosin. And y need to cake a base layer onto it. The struggle was real because of conflicting videos and posts. So found a video of this one teacher who is awesome and she said if you're not getting sound. Put more rosin on. For like 10-15 minutes if you have to. Nothing else was working. So I figured why not. And after slathering on rosin from Lonely Pine (original formula) it works so good. Hopefully I can upload a worthy video one of these years so you can hear the sound. So for now I just offer words for excitement. And it just looks so awesome with the weave. It's kind of like a Mandalorian DarkSaber vibes lol.

Impressive!
For under $100 wasn’t sure whether I was wasting my money instead of going for something pricier but this bow is fantastic. The clear tones are amazing. Feather light. No warp. I’ma beginner and it makes me sound good!

Very good bow for the price
I bought this as a backup bow for when my good one is being rehaired. I went for Fiddlerman as I figured it was a 'safe' choice for a bow I wasn't able to try out before buying. It arrived in good condition (just one loose hair). I'm very happy with what it can do, close to my good pernambuco bow (worth over £1000) and tone seems ok. Certainly seems worth more than £100.

Amazing bow!
This bow is absolutely amazing! I am not an expert by any means, just a beginner violin player but here is what I have found out after playing with my new bow for the first time: I have a wooden bow which came with my violin and it is a good make. I also have a carbon fiber bow ( £ 50 range, bought from a music shop). When I played with these bows I always lost my right-hand technique after a while and shortened my practice not because of the left hand, but annoyingly enough I wasn't able to maintain the right bow technique after about an hour. I don't know if it was the weight of the bow, or simply the shape of it which made it difficult. Yesterday my new Fidlerman bow arrived very well packed. It is sooo light, it is like a feather and it is made in such a way, that allows comfortable hold. My control and sound improved drastically and I played over 2 hours with no problems at all (would have played more if it wasn't so late at night) Well worth the money! It looks very good too.
