Bought this dehumidifier to replace an old one in my cellar. Summers are very humid in the coastal New England area. In order to maintain a dry mold free environment, a dehumidifier is an absolute necessity. Product was delivered promptly and extremely well packaged to prevent any damage. Unpacking and set up took about 10 minutes. Easy to use, set humidity levels, fan speed, etc. Smaller foot print, not as heavy, and quieter than my old one. I have a nearby laundry tub, so I opted for the continuous drain feature. Please note I had to elevate the dehumidifier up to the sink level (used an old dog crate) because the drain tube must flow downwards. I have a large cellar with 3 doorways going into separate rooms. It worked like a charm. Humidity went from 80 to 42 in about a day and a half. Very happy with it.

This item is the Boss! My sump pump went out and I had 1" of water in my basement. I used my carpet cleaner to suck up the water, turned on fans and didn't see the humidity go down. This Humidifier was a great price and easy set up. Once it arrived I turned it on. Couldn't believe how much water it collected within a few hours. So easy to use, it shows the % of humidity that's current. The air feels and smells fresh! What relief. Great Buy! Get it!

This unit (Yaufey 80 pint dehumidifier) does a great job taking down the humidity in my basement. The operation is simple and runs surprisingly quiet. I was impressed how much humidity/water it will take out of the air! I did have an issue with the unit after a couple years, contacted Yaufey customer service. They promptly addressed the issue. I was very pleased with the solution and the customer support I received. I do recommend this unit.

First off, this sleek looking unit is a great size and with its wheels it is very easy to roll around. The compressor is very quiet and the fan moves plenty of air, so it does a very good job of keeping my entire basement dry. The most amazing thing about this purchase is the customer support, because after about 10 months of reliable operation I had an issue with the unit, but the problem was resolved hassle free. No product in the world is perfect, but Great Support does make me a happy customer, so the 5 star rating is well deserved.

This dehumidifier works great! It is simple to set up, and the control panel is simple to use. I love that it has 3 fan speeds. It has made such a difference with the humidity and air quality in my home. I had an issue after one month of using it. The unit did not turn off when the bucket was full. I contacted customer service and after trouble shooting the issue, I was told the motherboard may be experiencing a loose connection or a malfunction. I was sent a new unit right away with a prepaid label to return my unit. I chose this dehumidifier because it was Energy Star Certified and the great reviews on customer service. After my experience with customer service, I would give them an A+.

I purchased this unit in May 2025. My area is very humid and I have a large 1800 sq ft basement. The unit was very effective as it produced about 2-3 buckets of water each day. I also have a separate hygrometer and it indicated a lowering of the humidity level after using the unit. The unit is also pretty quiet. I keep it on the lowest fan setting but even at the higher settings, the noise is not troublesome - but it may be if placed in a populated area. Overall, an effective, clean looking product. When using it this year, 2026, it just has not been producing the amount of water it used to. Now, I get about 1/2 bucket per day and the hygrometer indicates a humidity level in the high 40s. It used to be in the teens and 20s last year. I contaced support and provided some supporting evidence after which they said it is lacking refrigerant. I have seen this reported in other customer comments. They offered to send another unit if I paid for shipping and return shipping of the old unit. Alternatively, they would dismiss the shipping costs if I left a 4 or 5 star review. I am leaving this 4 star rating because it is what I would have left anyway. The customer service has been good in addressing the core functional issue and the product is effective overall. Another issue is that the number indicated on the unit that is supposed to represent the current humidity level is waaay offf from my hygrometer reading - usually around 20 points higher. So I don't rely on that at all. I use my separate hygrometer. Finally, the water level is very hard to see. You have to use a light or stand at the right angle to make the water level line visible.

I’ve been using this for over a year now, and it’s been a solid little device that has kept my basement bone dry. The dehumidifier has a series of great features; - easy to setup and get running in a couple clicks - has the option of both bucket and hose for water dispersement - it’s super - extremely - quiet, I couldn’t believe it. If you need a good, small, but powerful and quiet unit, this one is for you. They also have exceptionally responsive and helpful customer support, what’s not to love?

Extremely POOR Service by Seller. They supplied faulty product without QC checking at their end and only had excuses to delay the problem.

I was surprised at the small size as had expected a larger unit. I was happy with the weight as was easy for me to manoeuvre where needed. Very quiet and most efficient. It is supplied with a hose that attaches to a drain so makes maintenance a breeze. I would recommend the purchase of this unit.
