Fantastic!!! Great peace of mind, good value, easy installation and a bonus as it’s portable!!! Take it with you wherever you go on holiday’s.

Reason for purchase: Wanted a small carbon monoxide alarm for my micro campervan The good: This product is great for the price. Its loud, the indicator light display tells you its working, it looks fine, easy to install where ever you want, as it is light enough to stick using a number of ways. The battery life seems good, although it states it lasts a long time so I expected it to be. The bad: Nothing stand out really Would I buy again: Absolutely.

I bought this to replace my original that had expired, it arrived quickly was easy to set up. It seems to be the same as my original and looks to be of the same quality. The alarm is small and neat and when tested was loud.

Good product, works well. Clear instructions and a reasonable price.

Perfect. Safety is paramount. Does the job. Simple to hang or stand near boiler

Convenient and neat, very happy, good price

Perfect. Replaceable batteries which is different from the one it replaced.

A month or so after buying this the alarm went off. We called the emergency services and they sent the fire brigade, who confirmed there was a carbon monoxide leak and disconnected the gas. My boyfriend's young son sleeps in the room next to where the boiler is located, and it's terrifying to think he could have died if I hadn't bought this alarm. Definitely a sliding doors moment!!! Before that day, my boyfriend had been experiencing severe headaches and dizziness every day and needed daily pain medication. After the gas was disconnected his symptoms significantly improved (although they haven't disappeared entirely). Headaches, dizziness and nausea are symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning and I now suspect there had been a low-level carbon monoxide leak for months, which was making him sick, but not enough to activate the alarm. I have learnt that carbon monoxide alarms must activate if the levels exceed a certain quantity within a certain time period, but the alarms are not required to activate if carbon monoxide levels exceed healthy amounts but then reduce within the permitted time limit. This means someone could potentially have repeated intermittent exposure to toxic amounts of carbon monoxide without carbon monoxide alarms necessarily activating. In our case, it activated after I closed the window in the bathroom. For this reason I believe it's not sufficient to rely on carbon monoxide alarms alone. We must also get gas boilers checked and serviced regularly.

As described and works,

Great stuff, cheap and easy to install!
