Its a Power Supply
First off, what is the deal with people leaving poor reviews because they don't understand how to set CC with a dummy load (steel wire in a bucket of water works just fine in a pinch), waited months to open the box, only to realize it doesn't come with a power cord (does not claim to), was DOA (happens to us all from time to time) or they misused it and blew it up, only to throw a fit that the seller wont refund them, formally apologize, and give them a big hug? Actual insanity.ANYWAYS, the review: My use-case, I built a DIY 8S 18P lipo pack out of recycled 1000mAh pouch cells. This and a BMS was installed in a small electric dirt bike. Now, 8S leaves you with a bit of a weird charge voltage of 33.6V and I didn't want to go with some sort of data linked charger that talks to the BMS. In comes this 48V 12A power supply. I have it set to roughly 300W of output, 33.4V @ 9A, and other than the fan being a bit noisy, it trucks along healthily dissipating a bit of heat and outputting stable power as it should.. I could see it handling its claimed 80% continuous max load just fine if you consider ambient temps and leave it room to breathe. You're suppose to oversize your power supply for the intended task anyways. Onboard voltage and current meter are accurate enough for at a glance readings, but I always double check my setpoints with a trusted meter when you need accuracy and granularity down to sub-1V.I will say, some of the reviews mentioning the barrier strip being a little tricky to get to under the knobs has some merit, but i had no issue getting good torque on the screws with the included screwdriver, and the knob caps pop off with a bit of coaxing for extra clearance. One more thing that i haven't seen mentioned in the product listing or otherwise, is the little 10 turn trimmer pot on the left side under the voltage control knob. I assume its essentially supposed to be for "calibrating" the max output voltage, which it does in fact adjust. But, its turns out this pot has a VERY wide range of control, which was a welcome bonus. I was able to set it at my desired output voltage of 33.4V with the user-facing voltage knob turned all the way up, and now its much more difficult to accidentally bump the voltage too high. It also has the ability to go WAYYY beyond the 48V rating of the PSU, so much so that i stopped at about 80V and quickly backed it off for fear of damaging the output filter electrolytic capacitors. Useful? potentially, with some modifications. Sketchy? all part of the fun of hobby electronics!Overall, for a ~$50 600W power supply, it does what it says on the tin. Having access to several hundred watt CC-CV PSUs at this price range was but a dream not very long ago.

Wonderful
Worked better than most of the reviews stated... works as it should, multimeter confirmed all the readings on the digital. Im running at 1200w amp off it and it worked perfectly

You can not control amp
The device is good as regard voltage control button BUT you can not control amp ( from another button). When i contact customer service, they told me that inorder to control amp , i need amp load device which is difficult to have as home user - Alao , that is NOT described on device description on amazon , so amp control button of NO VALUE.The good thing is customer service response, they really helpful.

A great high output supply.
Very nice power supply. It was purchased for a home-made "boombox" and it provides plenty of power for the hungry little amplifier. The supply never skipped a beat at stupid volume levels, so it's doing it's job well. The adjustability of the supply isn't being used, but it was tested and worked as it should. Very pleased.

Works like a charm, limited mounting options.
This is a well built unit that does it's job very well. I set up one set of leads with gator clips and one with a XT90 connector. It's easy to control the voltage and amperage. My only real issue is a lack of a way to wall mount it. I have this out in my shed and I'd like to mount it to a plywood electronics board (plywood screwed into studs where I mount inverters, bus bars, etc.). Other than that, I have no issues with it. I give it a 4.5 stars

Perfecto 💯.
Equipo bastante robusto, ventilador enfría como debe de ser, amperaje y voltaje probados y funciona como lo dice.Así que perfecto para trabajo cotidiano.
