This product is a godsend. We have a Jardine parrot that squawks and makes high screeching noises that were driving, my gf crazy. She seriously, even thought of killing the bird. Now that we got this device set up, which very effectively responds to motion, the singing bird sounds charmed the parrot and she stop squawking and making screeching noises. It’s like it trained The bird to be civilized Thanks for an excellent product and a great life-saving solution!

Our friends turned us on to this. We keep in our bathroom. It’s both relaxing and amusing.

This background sound was presented on every restroom entry on a Viking Cruise. Curious I thought I would attempt to duplicate the experience at home. Gets old after awhile but it turns off . Great to entertain your guests and put a smile on their face.

It’s nice. It’s all plastic though. No wood. The motion sensor is very strong and reliable. Birds are sounding nice but could be a little more diverse sounding.

I love this bird box! My adult daughter took me on a trip to Iceland in September 2025 and we noticed that many of the bathrooms in Iceland had bird boxes and we absolutely loved them. We thought they were wonderful so I purchased one for each of us for Christmas 2025. I chose the Appalachian Mountains version because we have camped there together many times through the years when she was younger and still living at home. An absolute wonderful gift that she was so excited to receive!!! I truly hit a home run with this gift.

Bought it for self and for gifts. We place one in the guest toilet. Make sure what you buy is not a knock off from China.

This "singing bird box," as it is called, is incredibly simple and works very well. The packaging is very simple and modern-looking, so it's great for gift-giving. The item is also very simple to set up: you simply install three AAA batteries and and turn the volume dial up until you hear a "click." From here, you can continue to turn up the volume dial to raise the volume, or lower it to lower the volume. The sounds are surprisingly relaxing, and last for about two minutes. The device is motion activated, and the range is quite impressive (about 25 feet). On the back of the box there is also some text mentioning the company's commitment to planting one tree for every singing bird box that is sold. One thing that I think would be nice is the ability to choose for how long the noises play; perhaps you only want them to last for 30 seconds, or maybe you want them to go on for 30 minutes. It also sounds as though there is just one recording of bird noises, and that every time the device is activated, the same recording plays. Perhaps the biggest issue I have with this product is the price. At the time of my order, I would have paid $30.00 plus any additional taxes and fees. Considering that this is basically just a motion detector and a speaker put in a nice-looking shell, I think this is way too high, especially when you consider the lack of the aforementioned features. Overall, I can't entirely recommend this product just because of the price. If that got dropped to around $10.00 to $15.00 (not including any applicable taxes and fees) and some additional features were added, then I think this would be a very nice product. But, of course, if you don't mind the simplicity and have the cash to spare, then give it shot! I think you'd quite enjoy it.

Het staat bij ons in het toilet. De bewegingssensor werkt heel goed. Bij het openen van de toiletdeur beginnen de vogeltjes al vrolijk te fluiten. Even aangenaam vertoeven bij een 'serieuze' zaak. :)
