Fits a performs exactly as the original. I don’t think I’d say it is “upgraded” in any way, but I can’t discern it from the original so the money savings is massive. Installing it is exactly as the original, and is a perfect replacement. Wonderful product that kept my vacuum going.

This was a perfect fit for the v15! The Dyson brand was going to be double this price. There is a slight resistance at opening, but I think that will go away over time and usage. I highly recommend!

Canister: This canister worked great to fix my vacuum. It is made well and fits correctly. I would easily recommend it as a replacement part. When I looked on the Dyson website the genuine part was not available. I ended up upgrading to the Dyson animal version and am glad I did. For Dyson there are the upright vacuums and the cordless versions. We have hardwood floors with some area rugs and the portable is all that is needed most of the time. The upright is usually reserved for deep cleaning and the portable for most tasks like floors, rugs, dusting, crevices, cobwebs and such. I received an Animal V11 from my mom as a gift. Having a dry set means you can always use your vacuum in case of a spill. https://amzn.to/3S1rTs6 For any Dyson vacuum be sure to empty the canister before it reaches the “max” line on the canister or the filters will clog much faster with fine dust and you will lose suction. Not only that but is is way harder to empty when full or over full. Try to not go past the half way full point for the best results. I have a number of Dyson vacuums dating back the yellow DC35 which is still going strong today.

I bought this a little skeptical since I was worried it wouldn’t fit my actual Dyson vacuum. It fits like a charm. It came neatly and securely packaged. There wasn’t any broken pieces and no cracks. It fits perfectly on my Dyson!! A super snug fit since it’s brand new. It does feel a bit too snug the first few times you go to empty it or take it off the vacuum. It does get smoother with a few uses, I promise! The canister seals tightly and nothing was falling out when there was debris in it. It might be off brand, but it was the perfect replacement. The cost was affordable as well. If you’re in need of Dyson replacement canister, this should be your go to!

It fits. It does the job. My old seal busted and I could not get it back together, it was “leaking” for a while before it completely came apart. When I go to empty, it does slide down but doesn’t come all the way off. I do have to use some force to get it to open. Maybe that will become easier over time? I cannot not pull it right off like another reviewer posted in her video. If it drives me nuts enough, I may return it and completely exchange the Dyson if I can.

Fit in size. Easy to install. Worth for what you paid !
