A variety of experiments to keep that excites children and spark their curiosity.

This it such a great book. I bought it to work on science experiments during the summer during COVID19, seeing as though we can't go out exploring and are stuck in the house more this summer. My kids ages 16, 11 & 4 all have enjoyed the projects and there is something for everyone. My husband and I have fun working through the book! It has given us something to do as a family while teaching the kids in a fun environment. The set up of the book is easy to understand and teaches the "hows & whys" for the results of the experiments. The projects list the level of difficulty, time and supplies needed for each experiment and usually you only need things you probably already have around the house. I would recommend this book.

This is a great book but you have to plan ahead as most of the experimencts equire products that you probable don't have laying around the house. They're not difficult to find but you'll most likely have to buy at least 1 thing before trying an experiment.

I have a little scientist at my house who loves experimenting and discovery. I was running out of ideas and ran across this book in search of a solution. The experiments are engaging, and provide great insight and follow-up that explain the why and not just the how. I can see her analytical wheels turning when we are about to start, forming her own hypothesis before getting into the experiment. It's also great to hear her explain things she sees while we are out and about from the lessons she has learned from inside this book. To put it simply, this book is helping her make sense of the world around her, and for a child that can mean so much.

Good present for a science loving kid.

The book has many projects with step to step directions. Most of the items needed are accessible easily. My grandchildren enjoyed doing several of them.
