It is an absolute must for any Bowie fan, even if you were not as lucky as I, you can feel the fun in his voice, relaxed and enjoying himself, just wish it was longer. First five tracks are stripped back versions, something Bowie was brilliant at especially in the latter years of his career. Sound quality of this CD is really top notch. It’s the best Bowie purchase I’ve personally made since his death when it comes to all these semi official David Bowie releases that we are now seeing on a regular basis. Be warned though! You think you might have come to terms with Bowie’s sad passing? Listening to this CD of a true genius is guaranteed to make your heart ache return.

Essential Purchase

Bowie forever
Nice live album. Side one some nice stripped down acoustic versions, side two is full live band and rocks out. Dates from 97, probably sourced from radio broadcast material and what previously has been kicking around as bootlegs. Record quality is good. You won't be disappointed, this was an interesting period for Bowie with the Earthling album being current and the live band was really good around that time as I can testify as I saw him at the Phoenix festival. Not the longest album you will ever buy but at fifteen quid or so it's worth it.

Seriously wonderful. The live versions of Jean Jenie and Moonage Daydream are superb. Bowie sounds energised and the musicianship is top notch. Short but worth it

YOU WON'T GET A BIGGER THRILL THAN THIS FOR £9.99. x
To the best of my knowledge, I haven't already got these versions. The cd is only 40 minutes long, but it's the best 40 minutes I've spent in a very, very long time. I'm audibly challenged (understatement!) but these sounded great! Well worth the £9.99 I paid. Buy it. ❤ x

A must.
Bowie adherent ? Then get this. Acoustic bowie at his relaxed best. Clean recording and to my knowledge not included anywhere else. It bridges a lovely gap from the performance bowie to a matured laid back jazzy sound and then facing the inevitable. A must addition to any serious collection.

Amazing versions of these songs.
I bought this to add to my ever growing Bowie collection. When I put it on I was blown away by it. I hadn't heard these versions of these songs before. If you are a fan then you most definitely need this in your collection.

In realtà questo LP riporta due live differenti: Quello dell' 8 aprile del 1997 Smith’s Olde Bar ,Atlanta FM Broadcast 01 The Jean Genie 02 Seven Years In Tibet 03 I Can’t Read 04 Scary Monsters 05 Dead Man Walking e quello del 15 Ottobre del 1997 New York ,Radio City Music Hall ,The GQ Men Of The Year AwardsNew York 06 I’m Afraid Of Americans. 07 Fashion 08 Little Wonder 09 Moonage Daydream ed ecco adesso che si spiega anche il titolo dell'album "Best of seven months in america"(Aprile-Ottobre sono 7 mesi!). Un bootleg non ufficiale ma venduto come oggi accade spesso per le vie ufficiali. Una curiosità su questo LP della "Cult Legend"/Stempra etichetta pressocchè sconosciuta. Infatti esistono due edizioni: questa con la data corretta del primo concerto che si intravede nella copertina in basso e nel retro un bollino giallo con la dicitura "180 grams edition" L'altra che presumo essere la prima edizione con la data sbagliata sulla copertina (!) e senza il bollino giallo sul retro. L'immagine è quella della prima edizione che riporta l'anno errato 1994, mentre quello da me ricevuto riporta l'anno corretto 1997.

Side one is acoustic and very intimate. I wish their was more acoustic Bowie out there 😢. Sound two is with his band of that tour and it's recorded very well but it feels like your in back of the venue. If your a Bowie fan you will like this album. Crank sound two.

A pesar de tratarse de un bootleg el sonido es muy bueno. La primera parte del vinilo con unas deliciosas versiones en acústico. 100% recomendable sobre todo para fans!

La première face du disque comprenant des versions acoustiques est sympathique bien qu’assez anecdotique, la face B par contre dépote ! De superbes versions live de Moonage Daydream ou Little Wonder, avec un son plus que correct. Il est plaisant de se replonger dans l’ambiance de l’album Earthlings dont on attends toujours une réedition en vinyle.
