It works, but the clic-r type hose clamps are pants
I bought these needing to refit a clic-r86 type hose clamp to my 205's power steering return line but no matter what i do the clamp refuses to click into position. These pliars are nice and they work fine, but the hose clamp itself is a really bad design or the guy who installed the clamp before me mauled it to death and has made it useless, and buying them in inexpensive packs is near impossible, do yourself a favour and swap to a better hose clamp alternative but if you are looking for inexpensive clic type pliars these are fantastic for the price.

Affordable, usable Clic-R pliers
I used this tool to remove and refit the Clic-R hose clamps on my Fiat 500. It worked fairly well, the rivet securing the two handles was a bit sloppy so sometimes it was a bit fiddly to use but for what it cost Iโm not complaining. I canโt see it lasting under the rigours of professional use but for DIY work it is fine.

Well made
Good quality, as described and reasonably priced. Just used it in anger and as long as you get it the right way round works great

Did not work
couldn't give 0 stars, did not work unclipping or clipping the hose clamps as the end parts that "pinch" are too thick compared to laser or draper. as a mechanic I recommend getting the better quality pair may cost double but you won't be disappointed.

They work a treat, job took about a minute using these.
Tried and failed putting the hose clips back on for about an hour, bought these took less than a minute
