Incredible learning tool! The 5 minutes a day philosophy is so inviting to young learners. The 3 different presentations of addition (dots, ten frames, bars) align with current research. My kid loves them! When the 5 min timer chimes, she always asks to repeat it. Now that she’s mastered a decent amount, we are able to play some games. Love it!! Teacher approved and 1st grader approved! (We started using them when she was in kindergarten, and I use them with students in 1st-3rd.)

These cards are a handy resource for supporting math concepts. I do like how they designed the cards to be used in a variety of ways to support building number sense. They also included a number of games to play with your child. The only reason I rated them a 4 instead of a 5 is I really wish they had more frame cards to assist with subitizing. I wish they also had 5 frame, 10 frame, and 20 frame cards without the numbers on them. This would be a more robust tool in helping kids with structuring numbers. Once they print the number with the frame, they no longer need to pay attention to the frame and what it is trying to teach. That being said, some kids will find the frames useful enough that they will ignore the number and still think about the frame. Overall it is really nice to have a pre-printed high quality material to use when practicing math facts. These cards are quite handy.

Great resource for math facts

These are great. Very easy for my kids to use, the colors keep them engaged and they are easy to understand. There are a lot of cards so it is a mess but so is every kids toy. A few of ours got wet, they didn’t ruined and dried well.

This product is awesome for math facts!! We started with Tiny Polka Dots from the same company and then moved to these cards. My daughter is 5 and starting 1st grade math and she has been learning these so fast. The ten frame cards are fabulous for a kid to learn how to make a ten when counting. The cards are easy to use if you read the rules. If a kid gets one wrong then that card always goes back to the A folder but anything correct moves on the next letter folder. I will definitely buy their multiplication cards and prime club when my kids are older.

Nice product, like concept and systematic review. Only negative comment is I received opened box with three missing cards from 5+__=.

We enjoyed the multiplication by heart for my older children so we are trying this one for our grade 1.

Instructions in the box send you to a website to "learn how to play". This website gives an error message "We’ll be uploading directions for using Addition by Heart here soon!"
