Penguin Pottery - Specialty Series Variety Set #2 - Mid Fire Cones 5 & 6 - Includes 8 4oz Jars

These glazes are great, and really create their own beautiful and unique coloring when fired. I also love the clear as it does an interesting cracked effect without being actually cracked. These are, as advertised, very chalky and a bit thick so they look amazing on a smooth surface. Potentially try some thinner (which they sell) or a tiny bit of water if you’re doing stamps or etching on your clay, as my experience is the glaze will cover up small etching or stamp work and fill in the indentations so it’s not visible. I still LOVE these, just use them in certain ways and plan to get their thinner to try.

Daughter loved it. Beautiful colors to choose from

I haven’t fired all of them yet, but here are most of them from this set fired to cone 6. I put 3 coats on with a fan brush on cinco blanco clay

Love them

It’s not what you think it is! The colors don’t come out, not even close to what they’re supposed to be. I wasted a lot of money on this product, and I will not buy them again.
