These things are great have got them on all bedroom and closet doors now the kids can keep there door closed and the animals won’t come in they were easy to install and they work awesome have told many of ppl about these and they are going to order them some

The installation manual for this item may as well have been non-existent. It was very poor in its description of how this closer operates. Thankfully, I was able to work it out by myself.We needed a 'weak' closer on a bedroom door that our kittycat goes in and out of, but one that never latches shut due to having a jamb on it (otherwise, she would freak not beng able to get in, or out). We just need it so that guests visiting us and/or staying with us don't see into our bedroom. She normally just "shoves' it ajar, this takes that shove and closes it back up slowly until it hits the jamb. It works for that, but I have no idea what to do if this was on a stronger, heavier door that needed more "oomph" to close. There's a secondary pole to thread in, and I presume it is something to do with that, but the manual tells you nothing, very difficult to when it's a two-sided piece of paper the size of a matchbox.There is a stick on plate for the roller to roll across, be careful where that is positioned!

Good Closer for the price

I turned the torque until it stopped. Attached the roller and the door doesn't close. This might work on a super super light weight door...maybe.

This product solves my problem, closed my door easily, no hassles.. easy set up, 10 mins

So for a while, I thought the tension rod was to screw in some sort of mechanism to tighten or loosen the tension like on a bicycle. What I finally discovered is that there are multiple holes you can screw the roller arm on. So if you wanted more tension, you would use the tension rod to turn the middle section more, and move the roller arm to the next hole!I ended up using the first hole since we didn't want to have the door fully close (so our cat can get in and out) but enough to make sure the door close so the light from the other room doesn't come in and wake our baby! It works perfectly for our situation.It was fairly easy to install!

Poor quality threads stripped within a min cheap cheap stuff go home depot spend the extra 10$ and you will b happy

I bought this 3 times. First two shipped in a while cardboard box worked perfectly. Third one shipped in a blister pack had missing threads and it was impossible to assemble.
