Great addition to the kitchen gadget collection. Already owed the fine microplane and wanted the coarse to have options. Very easy to use.

Grates parmesan easily and produces a good amount of grated cheese with each stroke. This is the second one I have had. The blade on the first one is still good after several years of use, but the plastic handle and frame repeatedly broke in various places, and I finally could not superglue it back together. Even so, I bought a second because the Microplane blade is the best grater blade I have ever used. I am giving this new one 4 stars because I do not know how durable the frame or handle will be after about 5 uses.

All of the microplane products are great. But sometimes they will wear out or fail. This grater was a replacement for one that I'd had for seven or eight years. The rim or "holder" for the greater is plastic, and ultimately the plastic broke. So I bought a replacement. I more than got my money's worth out of the original and expect this one will last several years.

Best ever for grating frozen pieces of ginger. I add ginger to my tea. Everyone should try it, you’ll love it if you want to add ginger to your diet. I tried other graters, this is the best.

Lange habe ich gewartet,aber die Reibe ist echt sensationell. Es wird mir nix anderes mehr ins Haus kommen außer microplane. Echt verdammt Scharf und liegt gut in der Hand. Stabil und einfach zu reinigen.
