I had opened up a wall and had to do some sheet rock repair work and some texturing. Nothing too big you know but big enough. So I bought a can of that spray texture thinking that’ll do the trick well a can of that was like seven or eight bucks or maybe it was nine but it didn’t go very far. I would need another two or three cans that look like. So I bought the sponges on Amazon and the sponge worked unbelievably well much better than that dumb can I had a bucket of texture so I had plenty of that And I just watered it down a little and dabbed it on let it set a little and hit it with the trial to knock it down, and that was it and it looks perfect and match the rest of the texture perfectly

Gave the perfect texture on my ceiling. For the people DIY a little goes a long way when dipping the sponge.

Texture is so variable in density there is no sponge that will fill every need but this sponge worke by simply tearing out some sections to come closer to matching the pattern that had previously applied.

I liked these sponges better than the natural sponges that I used previously to apply or repair a knockdown texture on my walls. They are easy to grip and you can get them pretty tight into a corner. However, they just didn't last that long for me and certainly no longer than a natural sponge. Two sponges barely lasted about 200-250 square feet of wall. At least they are cheaper than the natural sponges.
