Better than silicone ones
I agree with the other reviewers. If you have really dry, flaky and itchy scalp the silicone exfoliating brushes won't do the job. This is cheap and works way better because it has more bristles. It's not too rough on the scalp either. I have 4c hair if that matters.

Love it!
I love it so much that I bought 2! The size and shape make it feel like it’s really cleaning off the sebum and buildup. It massages your scalp and it is definitely a must-do now every time I shampoo!

Prevents Flakes
Firstly, its durable. I've been using this for almost 2 years now, and it's still going strong! The finger loop makes it easy to hold. The bristles are strong enough to scrub your scalp, but soft enough that they don't dig in and hurt. I didn't buy this for thinning hair, so I can't comment on whether it stimulates hair growth or not, but it works well for shorter, thick hair. I would occasionally have flakes because my hair is thick, and it's hard to thoroughly scrub my scalp. This brush helps get through the hair to scrub off all that dead skin, and prevents nasty flakes.

Very impressed!
At first I was disappointed with the cheap feel of this item but once I used it in the shower, I understood why there was such flexibility to it. My scalp feels healthier and cleaner since using it. Not sure of its helping with hair growth as I haven't had it long enough to notice. I originally bought this because I had a shoulder injury and washing my hair was difficult. I wasn't able to scrub my scalp and come to find out, wasn't rinsing product out of my hair well enough, which was causing product buildup on my scalp. So I used this and after probably the second time, I noticed my scalp was back to being very clean again. Very effective tool which I'll never be without one ever again.

A great brush
These work great for brushing you hair as a brush. It work great with a scalp treatment for dandruff. I have 2 of these. 1 in the shower and 1 by the sink by the mirror.
