They do exactly what they say they will do. My husband selected 5 stars even though he wished we would have bought something else. We have a guardian livestock dog who is 8 months old, and he is very rough on watering systems. This works great for the KuneKune pigs because they can reach the water if the trough is low enough. The puppy however paws at the water to get fresh water flowing, and we had to put a concrete block under both of them to prevent him from bending them down because that makes the water flow constantly. This has created a constant water source for our pigs which is exactly what we wanted. To be able to go to work on a hot day, or even take off for a weekend and not worry about water for the pigs and dog.

The product looks well made and built to last. Easy to install with just 2 screws (not included) into my wood siding. I needed to purchase an adapter separately to adapt to my faucet. This part was $4.09 at Menards and it’s called a 3/4 in FH x 1/2 in MIP. The manufacturer should really just include this part in the package for the US market since this would be required for all installations in the US. My dogs took to it immediately and am hoping it alleviates the messy water bowl in my kitchen during the spring, summer and fall months. Overall I would highly recommend.

I will leave a 4 star review for now only because I just installed it. Things I needed to mount correctly to our home since it’s all Brick. 1/2 mason bit, hammer drill and concrete anchors. I also need a 3/4” female to 1/2 male reducer for the water line. I needed my angel grinder to cut off extra length on concrete anchors so they didn’t interfere with the float. I used Teflon tape and channel locks to make sure all fittings were tight. it might of taken me 30 minutes to install although I am a contractor and have all tools Available to me. Worked immediately like it should. If the float lasts at least a year I’ll upgrade to five stars

We use this for our dogs. They used to jump in their water bowl and dump it out multiple times a day. This waterer is just the right size, no jumping in it. We hung it on a chain link fence at shoulder height. The float valve ensures they will always have a constant supply of clean water. We did have to buy a female-to-female hose adapter to connect the supply line to our hose. Still very worth it. Highly recommend.

7/25 Yep, still loving this with 3 dogs. Works great! 11/23 Still going strong and love that me dogs always have fresh water. I wipe it out every week or so since my dogs get dirt, etc in it, but still way, way eaiser then having a water bowl. 6/10/21 I contacted the company and they are sending me a new float for the bowl. I will update here once I have that in place. I am really happy that they quickly responded. 6/9/21 At first, we loved this self filling dish for our thirsty dogs. IN april 2021, it was a year old and now it won't stop filling to the point that it runs over all day. UGH. I have tried everything to adjust the float and even tried the water facet on different levels, but it still just keeps filling. I have emailed the company so we shall see.

First: the description clearly says it comes with 1/2” FIP thread. A simple google search will verify that typical garden hose is NOT 1/2” so negative ratings for this are the buyers fault and not on the merchant, IMO. Same goes with any hardware to install it. None is specified in the product description so to assume would be poor judgment. I am giving this 3 stars because the braided host connection leaks between the nut and the crimped connection (not a Teflon tape issue). This leak flowed at a significant rate and led to the replacement of the hose. The bowl assembly works well aside from this issue. I’ll be installing a drain plug because dirt and other particles collect very quickly and cleaning will be much easier with a drain hole. Installed on 8-27-20. If no update written below this line after this date, all parts are still working.

We have three working dogs that exercise heavily and one cute stray we found. This thing is perfect. Our leonberger loves it. It stays clean, is durable, and the best part is training them with a clicker to go to this bowl versus a dirty puddle they may find. Better for their health. Wish I had bought it 10 years ago.

If its stainless.... its mixed with garbage. 3 months old and has rust in the water. The first picture shows the rust starting at 3 months. The next shows the hose leaking at 6. I bought a new hose and gasket... the cheap plastic won't let it get tight enough to stop leaking. Garbage

Use this for my dogs outside in summer. Worked great but tends to grow algae outside so we did not attach to the wall so that we could disconnect and haul to the sink for cleaning periodically but are working on an inside hookup for the dogs. We have 3 large dogs so are always refilling bowls

Good system but cant find the right floats for replacement. Tried a few different ones...same brand and it doesn't fit? What gives.

Perfect for your outdoor pets. Just wish the add a way to clean out without putting my hand in to push out the water..

had trouble with the floats sticking in the up position so the bowl did not refill , there is very poor adjustment for the float level.
