Good overall, could easily be great. Customer Service is good!
2ND EDIT: GMWD sent me a new machine free of charge and I just put it together. They said they were updating the machine to a newer model that addresses some of the issues I had previously. So overall, I am quite pleased. The pad for the new machine does not have the logo printed on, which I'm happy about! However, the vinyl is different and I would say worse. It's smoother and feels not as durable. GMWD, I would switch back to the old vinyl and not print the logo. Also, the adjustment plate on the older model has lasered holes all the way around and the new one has a gap of a couple inches where there are no holes. It needs to go all the way around. This is vital for full functionality. I was able to Frankenstein the two machines together and have the best machine that works for me, minus the new vinyl material. EDIT: GMWD has reached out to me about my issues with the machine and we are working through a solution. I will update my rating once the process is complete, but I can say the customer service has been great. Also, one of my criticisms was about the lever arm being long for the average person, but my wife at 5'6" says it is comfortable. Thought that might be helpful to some considering this machine. ------------------------------------ Summary: Not a bad preacher curl machine, especially at the price point, but there are a few really annoying flaws that could easily be fixed. For reference, I am 6’2” and an advanced lifter. What I don’t like: 1. The preacher pad. The photos on Amazon show a blank preacher pad that looks very high quality. What I got was a pad with the brand name printed in a huge, ugly font. Completely cheapens the look of the entire machine and I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had known. It’s also completely unnecessary because the frame has a very nice looking laser cut metal decal with the logo on it. The pad itself is of good quality, so if the horrid logo on the pad doesn’t bother you, then more power to you. GMWD, please consider removing this logo. It’s awful. 2. The Olympic adapter. They give you a spring clip to hold the adapter on, which makes it very annoying to switch weights and also shortens the bar, so you can’t even as much weight on. Not sure why they didn’t just use an Allen wrench attachment, but I’m ordering a new adapter. 3. Quality control. I’m sure not all are like this, but the piece where my lever arm meets my handle is welded on pretty crooked, which makes the motion not smooth. You can see it on the photos 4. The Lever Arm. It’s actually kinda long, which is fine for me at 6’2” but I can see it being a problem if you’re shorter. What would be great is if the lever arm hinged in the middle so it could adjust to anyone’s arm length. I may cut it and put a hinge in myself since I train others who won’t find it as comfortable. What I like: 1. It’s got a small footprint, but is still solid and comfortable. I’m a larger man, but it doesn’t feel too small or cheap. 2. Preacher pad aside, it is quite attractive. The padding is nice quality and the frame has a nice powder coated finish. 3. It ships well. The rubber feet were the only items that I felt could’ve used better packing, but those can take a beating. High quality shipping for sure. 4. I was able to put it together in probably under 15 minutes using a battery powered ratchet. Instructions are actually good, not that they’re even needed. Very easy construction. 5. This isn’t advertised for some reason, but you can build this in either left or right orientation. I build mine in the opposite orientation than shown because it was better for my setup. I haven’t dealt with any customer service from GMWD so I can’t speak on that, but if they want to contact me about the lever arm or preacher pad, I would definitely change my rating. I think it’s otherwise a great machine. My recommendations for GMWD: 1. Get rid of the ugly printed logo on the preacher pad. The metal one on the frame looks great. The one on the pad is detrimental to your brand. 2. Consider selling a hinged lever arm as an add on to this machine. I would buy it. Contact me if you need a drawing of what I mean. I think there’s easy potential to grow your business using add on options. 3. Fix your Olympic adapter or get rid of standard plate option entirely. Anyone that is still using standard plates, isn’t serious about their training and probably isn’t even considering your machine in the first place. 4. Add resistance band functionality for more consistent tension.

Well made and easy to out together.
It is well made, all the holes lined up for installation and powder coating is nice. It is a good quality for a home gym. This machine takes up a small footprint. Mine came with the sleeve for Olympic plates, yay. You really don’t need to use the stop pin, so makes it easier to swap from biceps to triceps exercises. I was really surprised at how good of a pump I got with the tricep extension exercises using this. It just takes a little finesse as far as elbow placement on the pad and hand placement on the bar. Bicep curls feel good as well. I definitely would recommend it.

Overall very good. Could be improved.
I got this machine based on Zach's review. I am happy to report that the clamp issue has been resolved. You can see in my picture that the end has a washer and screw to hold on the 2 inch plate adapter. It is also angled where I don't have to clamp the plates on at all. They just stay on. The GMWD logo is now black on black so is hardly noticeable, and actually looks sort of cool. As you can see in my picture, I don't sue the bar that has to be removed to change from biceps to triceps. As long as I put the flywheel to the biceps position before removing the weights, all is good. I did add an ultra high molecular weight plastic square on the black metal bar next to the weight plates since they were rotating and scratching the bar. A 2 inch rubber O ring could work also, but I didn't have any handy at home. The length works for me at 5'6" for triceps in 3 positions (elbows don't rest fully on the pad) and biceps (leans forward with elbows fully on the pad). I wish thee were foot rests to secure my feet in both directions for both triceps and biceps. Also, my other concern is to that the sponge on the arm pad seems to either been placed on as tie pieces, or a lift cut the sponge at the top where my chest rests against it. It should be one piece. Currently the spend started splitting from the wood with an indentation with the first use (you can see it a little on the picture). One other person mentioned the seat would pull off the metal because they only use T nuts in the wood. A T nut installed from the other side of the wood fully spanning her wood would have been more study when someone tries to life the machine by the seat. Overall I am happy with the machine and will use it about 4 times a week. 9 month update: machine still works well. I do biceps with 45 pounds at 12-15 reps. Triceps is 125 pounds at 25-30 reps. With triceps, I do feel the vertical posts sway a little, but I make sure I sit forward and push my arm forward to minimize any "loose" swinging. This is my go to for triceps now, because I have elbow triceps tendinitis, and this machine is the least irritating to it.

great machine better price
i like this machine. assemble was easy but box was damaged and some parts were loose in the carton. i was missing 1 small screw for the collar. performance wise it works good , great range of motion. down side it suck trying to switch from bicep to tricep but it manageable. curl bar gives you 3 different grips, seat is adjustable. another issue is the cross bar at the base can get in the way of your left foot so you have to position yourself before you get started. overall great machine even better price.

High quality product but with a few flaws
Packaging was extremely detailed and came well protected. Instructions are easy to follow. The equipment itself is also very high quality and nicely made. Only issues I've noticed is that there is no adjustment to the height of the arm rest. If you're short, or have smaller arms, youre going to have a hard time finding a comfortable position to hold onto the bar and lift the weight. I'm average height and able to make due with this but does not feel comfortable when lifting the weight. Also, the machine lifts off from the side when lifting. Not very stable when lifting up the weight. Aside from that it's nice but needs some adjustments to make it perfect!

Customer service and great product
I broke a piece while assembling and I emailed and they sent the replacements no questions asked and did not charge me! I am a small business owner, and this was some of the best customer service I experienced in a long time. The product itself is fantastic as well! Thanks guys!

Preacher curls
I love it. It definitely feels sturdy and smooth. It helps deliver a great pump . The triceps really get a workout too. I am happy with my purchase.

Almost gret
Almost great. For triceps, this machine is amazing. Not ao much for biceps, though. I've been using this machine for a year, amd no matter what height or weight used, and no matter what grip is used, this machine forces emphasis on the forearms rather than biceps. Wish I would've got a different version.
