I bought it use and It came new. Amazing product. It works perfectly, super fast, super convenient. I have everthing here and because I bought a new computer that I like to keep clean so it runs smoothly always. I purchased a new desktop and within 2 weeks filled the SSD so needed another one. Found this T9 from Samsung. I did try the Samsung Magician software but in the end went thru the computers disk manager which works great. Very surprised by its compact size, weight and quality. I had 1 usbc 3.2 on my computer and using this for the SSD. I have transferred all my Steam Games to the SSD, every easy and quick process at blazing fast speeds. This freed up my internal SSD for work items. I purchased an Amazon return that was reported to be like new and it was like new and the 4TB is the way to go for price to size. I have 578 games on Steam and will be able to install most if not all on this SSD for grab and go playing as well as desktop use at home. Recommended.

Great SSD. Fast enough to edit 5 camera multicam videos shot in ProRes from it with ease. I tried a SanDisk SSD before trying this because it was cheaper, and it was defective. Didn't love the price tag on the T9, but it's already proving to be worth it, and it's still not a terrible value. Otherwise, it's super small and seems pretty durable

Great SSD, perfect size and speed. Really like these. Only issue I had was it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting while plugged in. Might have been a bad batch. These were $300 last year and now it's up to $800 lol. These need to go back down to a reasonable price. Otherwise great product.

No joke, this drive is the best ive had. I have gone through like, 8 computers on this baby, and its made it so i can plug and play all my games whenever in a pinch. Granted, its not as good as using an SSD via SATA, but my god, its hard to tell much of a difference. If you need a drive thats for gaming on the go, for use on a steamdeck, or whatever, it can handle it. HIGHLY recommend this, out of the 15 external drives ive had, easily the best. Pros: Comes with all the cables you could need, though no case. No problem, i had a few of my own that worked. Cables are long enough to put on top or have it touch the desk on a full sized desktop, and arent too big to prevent me from using other ports. Portable as hell, like, no joke, I can grab this drive, take it over to my buddies place, sign into a spare computer at his place, and play after adding the drive in steam. Connections, it comes with USBC to USBC and a USBC to USBA, none of those wacky proprietary connectors into the drive like in years past. Its easy to use and install, plug and play, and works off the bat. Con: It gets a touch warm? But like, thats to be expected. Its an SSD, and those can put off crazy heat depending on what your doing to them
