Free and Clean Unscented Clumping Cat Litter, 38 lb Box

Best cat litter I’ve ever used. No smell, good clumping, dust level 3/10. I’ve never felt like I’ve smelt litter before

I purchased this Tidy cat litter as an emergency box. I am so glad that Amazon was able to ship it within hours and I was able to get it overnight. It actually did save me and my little fur babies thank you Amazon. You are lifesaver my little cats really appreciated it. This litter is very durable it absorbs well. The texture is great. Honestly, it does not leave a mess my little kitties love it thank you.

This is now the only litter we use. Growing up and visiting homes that had cats, I just thought that every cat house smelled like cat pee. We found ourselves taking in a cat who was abandoned and ordered this stuff. When we ran out, we thought we'd try other scents, other brands, and nothing compares to this. Even the expensive stuff my SIL uses isn't as good as this. I order this on my subscribe and save and it is very cost effective compared to the ones you buy at the store. The smell is absorbed so well, I don't even mind vacuuming up the litter my cat tracks out of his box.

Having had to give up on the Dr. Elsey's litter, I searched just about every other option on Amazon, and read many, many reviews. So I'm grateful for all the reviewers who posted in such detail about this Tidy Cats Free & Clean Unscented litter. I was especially looking for comments on how fast and solidly it clumped, and the reviewers were right -- it clumps so quickly that cat wee doesn't have time to work it's way to the bottom of the litterbox, avoiding the dreaded cement-residue, and allowing the remaining litter to stay clean and dry. With the Dr. Elsey's litter, my cat's wee would end up creating solid, cement-like clumps on the bottom and sides of the box, making scooping very difficult and never resulting in a clean box. Every few days, I had to toss out the entire box of litter, wash the box and refill it, and I began to really dread the whole scooping/box-cleaning routine. For a few months there, I must have been one of Dr. Elsey's best customers. This Tidy Cats litter is on the lightweight side, but it's super-absorbent and creates clumps that essentially encapsulate cat wee so that it doesn't contaminate the rest of the litter. Only once since I changed to this litter did my cat urinate close to the side of the box, but the clump came away cleanly, and didn't leave a concrete slab on the side, as had happened regularly with the Dr. Elsey's litter. With this new litter, my cat doesn't find it necessary to dig down to the bottom of the box before doing her business. Now she just does it on the surface, then covers it, where it instantly clumps, making it very easy to scoop. The rest of the litter then remains clean and dry. Room service at the "Sands Hotel" is now so quick and easy! That said, this litter does track. Quite a bit. And because the granules are round, they tend to roll far and wide. And they're porous, so they pulverize if stepped on. But I'm happy enough to wield my handy-dandy Oxo standing broom and dustpan combo to sweep up rogue littler, rather than use a litter that might track less but requires brute strength for the scooping routine. I did fill the litter box quite deep with almost the entire 38 lb box of this Tidy Cats litter in the hope of keeping cat urine from reaching the bottom of the box. So far it's working very well. In addition to making my cat's litterbox visits more pleasant for her, I'm expecting this litter to last much longer, saving lots of clean-up effort and cash. It's early days yet, but for now, I'm sold on this Tidy Cats litter. UPDATE 2+ WEEKS: Happy (and amazed) that this litter has stayed clean and requires only easy scooping and topping up every couple of days. Even if my cat urinates near the sides of the litter box, the clumps come away free, leaving the box itself and the remaining litter clean. I'm gobsmacked, but in a good way. So glad my search for a good cat litter is over!

I love this cat litter, but i feel as though next tiem I will get a scented version due to the odor control not being super strong. It does seem like it is good quality and it does not leave too much litter on my cats paws after each use which is great.

I give the product five stars. It works great in my Whisker litter robot: clumps well, no dust, and the biggest thing for me is that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the Whisker bladder which Dr Elsley & Whisker did. The problem was the product packaging. It is extremely heavy well actually it’s exactly what it says: 38pound, but the box has no handles so to speak and when it was delivered, it was delivered just in the box so naturally, there was some spillage out of the sides. when I get a large bag of kitty litter, I can literally kick it down the steps and it’s slinky’s down and doesn’t open or rip, but the box had to be carried down. The best value is the larger size and other packaging can be obtained elsewhere. It’s kitty litter in a cardboard box so if delivered in the rain and you aren’t there to get it, it’s all wasted.

The litter is very good and easy to clean; there's no need to throw it all away. I'm very pleased with it.

Great price for the size. Every some time we try to save a little and buy cheaper little, unfortunately the cost quickly becomes apparent as cheap litter doesn’t actually clamp and the whole house smells like ammonia. This litter is the absolute best, there’s no smells even when the box is full. I guess it’s worth the price.

Prefer over the regular lightweight tidy cat. This is not dusty and is much cleaner. Much more hygienic. Great product in sturdy packaging that is nicely designed to pour out of top (I lean on floor)

If you're looking for the Tidy Cats extra lightweight clumping litter, this is NOT it. It's a REGULAR clumping litter (so it's a heavy box). However, it is high quality litter and when on sale, great value. Smells the same as the extra lightweight one, so mixing and matching works just fine with cats (at least our two cats were fine with it). If you can get this with a coupon or on sale, definitely worth it - on top of it it's delivered to your doorstep.

Love this litter. It’s not dusty and it’s very lightweight. Odour control is good as well.
