Took a shot with this for my indoor cats to get a little exercise. So glad I did as they love this thing. Chase the laser and toy I put on the thing. So far working as advertised and was worth the money to get it. Battery life is pretty good and shuts off after a while if they stop playing with it. The have learned to start playing with the toy and it will start moving again. Great value and great cat toy. So far it has held up to three cats playing with it. Only time will tell how durable it is.

every cat we introduced this to loved it, we foster for our local humane society so we have plenty of kittens to test it with lol, even our own cats loved it and would come to play. the product is great and durable, except for the part that matters most the motor. it now tries to spin but moves very little when it does, you can hear the motor trying to do its job however what ever connects the motor to the moving parts must be damaged and after only a few months (yes it did get daily use) our cats knew what the sound of the motor meant and were disappointed when it stopped moving and only shuddered at best. and after relooking at the page again i noticed that there is no warranty of any kind not even a 30 day one (except through amazons return policy) if it had lasted just a year i would have highly recommended it. but less than 6 i'd say it is a luck of the draw if it last or not. or it could be it was made to only last so many hors and used daily those hours were used up quickly. my first impression was it was a quality made product and except for the motor issue it is still a well made product that i am sure your cats / kittens will love. good luck on getting a long lasting one.

I can never find a toy that all 4 of my cats will play with. This one is the exception. They all lie around it engaging with different parts of it – one chases the laser dot, the other the piece on top, the other the arm underneath the apron (4th cat watches, waiting her turn). So pleased with it that I bought another one so they could still play while the first one was charging. I also love that it has a standby mode to conserve power when there’s no interaction (although only one of mine has figured out how to reactivate it).I should also mention that I had a problem with the motor not working properly on the first one after about a month. I contacted customer service and they promptly sent a new one. You don’t see that kind of customer support a lot lately. Kudos.I highly recommend.

This toy is cat approved. I have 8 cats at the moment (5 kittens) and they all went nuts for the toy. It's got different ways to play, all of which they love. Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the rug is cheap plastic rather than a heavy rug that will stay. The plastic rug sucks, the cats have torn it to shreds and I had to get a real rug and put a hole in it lol

This is the best toy ever. It has it all - a hanging toy, feathers that move automatically a laser that moves anutomatically and more. The battery life is pretty amazing - it lasts several days and takes less than 2 hours to recharge. It was definitely more than I normally spend on pet toys but worth every penny. My cat plays with it several times every day. She kayaking front of it waiting for it to turn on. The best thing about this toy is that it is motion activated for a period of time after play so my cat plays with it, chases it, lays on it and then takes a nap. When she awakens and walks past it for up to two hours later, it automatically reactivates. I’ve had it for about a month and works great. Read the directions re how to make the movement faster or slower (press the button). The on/off button has to be pressed for a couple of seconds longer than you would expect but it works fine and I’ve had no glitches at all except learning how to use it.

Initially it worked on par with any of the other similar type toys. I had purchased one previously from another company which lasted for a long long time, which notably was battery operated. But this one I purchased on Oct 30th and by mid Nov it reached a point where it barely moved. Fully charged, fastest setting and no luck. Our poor cats just sat around it, looking as if they were almost feeling bad for it. Occasionally batting at it as if to say "come on cheap plastic toy, you can do it, you can last longer than 2 weeks". Ah well. We were busy for the holidays so we forgot to initiate a return so it's to the trash with this one and back to buying another. My advice, other than not buying this one of course, is to try and buy one that takes batteries. More and more these randomly named companies we're finding on Amazon are churning out electronics that offer a "USB-C Rechargeable" feature as though it's a good thing to have but almost everyone I've bought off Amazon breaks down within a couple months tops. Often times it's the cheap battery or the charging mechanism they've put in that fails. I build electronic devices and my suggestion is to just buy one that takes batteries and buy your own rechargeable batteries instead. The less cheap corners they can cut, the better off us consumers will be.

My cats loved this toys. I gave it 3 stars because of the durability of the wand both on top of the device and under the blanket. Either my cats play too rough or it could be the machine, but worth noting. The battery was great, but it only had settings for the wand to move underneath the blanket piece.
