These are really good glasses especially for the price. They are flexible, light, and comfortable. They don't seem as sturdy as name brand glasses, but I can't complain for getting 2 pair for ~$10. Prior to this, I've already started purchasing blue blocker glasses for a small fraction of what I would have to pay at the eye doctor and having them cut prescription lenses into them. This saves me ~$200 for each pair even with insurance.

Very comfortable on a big head

I recently purchased these reading glasses and just received them, and overall my first impression is fairly positive for the price. The glasses look nice and stylish, especially from a normal distance. They’re also very lightweight and comfortable to wear, and the lenses are clear and easy to read through. The biggest downside is definitely the frame quality. The frames feel very stiff, plasticky, and somewhat cheap when you handle them closely. On closer inspection, the plastic construction is pretty noticeable, and they don’t feel nearly as durable as metal-frame glasses. I also don’t think they have much flexibility, so I could see them cracking or snapping if they get stretched out, sat on, or tossed around in a backpack or bag. That said, if your goal is simply to have an inexpensive pair of reading glasses around the house or office, these should work perfectly fine. As long as you treat them with a little care and don’t abuse them, I think they’ll do the job well. Personally, if they last me somewhere between six months to a year, I’ll consider them worth the money. Overall, for the price, these are pretty decent budget reading glasses — comfortable, clear, and stylish, but probably not built for heavy long-term durability.

I know so many people who live on readers from Amazon, and I'm definitely one of them! I found these glasses to be both stylish and very well made. I toted a pair around Europe in a lightweight case in my pocket for weeks with no impact. Screws seem to be holding well and they look great -- I've received lots of compliments. Classic. They are true to the power I bought (1.50) and I can read perfectly with them. The fit is excellent as well.

Weak Construction: The overall build quality could use some improvement. The glasses feel light, which is good for comfort, but not ideal for longevity. Improvement Suggestions: One major improvement would be to switch to spring-loaded hinges. This would provide a more robust and flexible hinge mechanism, reducing the likelihood of breakage and extending the lifespan of the glasses. While these glasses have their merits in terms of lens quality and design, the weak construction, particularly the cheap plastic hinges, is a big drawback. If the manufacturer could address the hinge issue, these could easily become a go-to pair of reading glasses for anyone. Overall, I would cautiously recommend these glasses for their clear lenses and stylish look but advise potential buyers to handle them with care due to the fragile hinges.

DO NOT BUY – JUNK – FRAGILE BOTH FRAMES BROKE IN TWO WEEKS The optical quality is excellent, however, the frame is TOO DELICATE. These reading glasses come in a package of two. The first frame broke at the ear piece hinge. The second frame broke at the front where the lens is held in place. I am 72 years old. I am not playing football in these reading glasses. I do not treat these reading glasses roughly. I kept one pair on my desktop and I kept the other pair in my shirt pocket. One day I picked up the desktop reading glasses and one lens had popped out and the frame was cracked apart. I pulled the other reading glasses out of my shirt pocket in a restaurant and one ear piece stayed in my shirt pocket having broken off the frame at the hinge. Apparently the designer and manufacturer of the frames think that cutesy poo appearance is more important than function and safety. I wasted my money. Do not waste your money so buy a different brand.

These Light Blocking Readers are fantastic. They look really nice and are perfect for reading. And of course the blue block is exactly what you need for looking at a monitor for long periods. I can’t imagine a better pair!

They don’t pinch or slide around, even after wearing them for hours.
