The original ones were plastic. I think these are going to last a long time.

They're awesome. You got two options: 1. Make a slit in the bottom of the door from left to right, and use one as a rail. 2. Or put one on each side of the door, and run the door in between. I went with option 1, cause it's hidden.

Picked this one for the sole reason it is advertised as aluminum. It is made of plastice. See photos, you can even see traces of molding.
