The DAC chip makes the audio AMAZING. I don't know who or why anyone is giving these less than 5 stars, except that maybe because they are so light weight that the cords are a little stiff and can get in the way for the first month or so and then they relax. But as I am listening to a Pro Gamer play PUBG, I can say that these would work even though they don't go in the ear canal. I can hear every detail. And on YouTube when I play music I am so happy I bought these. I would say the are great for the price, but no...the sound coming from these is worth more than what I paid.
