This Yale device is overpriced at anything over £45. > Packaging is ridiculously hard to slide apart, with unnecessary and crammed contents. > Some of the bulky contents are not helpful for implementation (e.g. a massive sheet of legalities in the various languages!). > Battery for tilt sensor is ridiculously hard to remove from its plastic package! > Yale home app is different to the one already operating my home Yale home alarm! And worse, having different login / accounts! > Yale app can't deal with iPhones that have triple cameras - it forces use of one, which wont focus on the QR code at any distance. Had to switch to my Android device to set-up. I left Virgin money for the same issue (final straw). Lack of testing on high-end iPhones by these international companies is embarrassing. > Needed to switch back to my iPhone to get the Wifi to finally set to the (new) Yale account and opener device. Bluetooth only to that point. > Wiring diagram online is incorrect for my Liftmaster door opener, so I couldn't make it work. I eventually worked out what is probably wrong by reviewing rival solution provider websites, but this Yale device is already packed up (crammed back in its box!) to go back, an alternative solution in place without any such issues. > Yale home helpline (UK) has nobody answering, anytime! In summary: The Yale Garage Door Opener is a disaster product for Yale. Meross do home device automation so much better, so much cheaper and with so much more assistance.
