yes, Im a 6 foot college kid and I got one of these for my house in college to use when people come over and I've played many times with four people, I actually was so impressed with the product and the price that I convinced my mom to get one for her house

do the players rorate when they are held upside down?

I'm a little confused about what your asking. But the players are completely attached to the slider bar they have no swing or give the only way they move is if your moving the bar their attached to and if you flip them upside they stay upside until you let go of the slider bar
