The information contains fundamental marketing concepts and contains tons of little highlighted callouts so you can easily find important ideas and their definitions. After reading this book I think a person will have a good, basic understanding of marketing. One of the things I disliked: there were so many sidebars in each chapter and large type callouts, I think to break up the text. It made me think the books are for teenagers with short attention spans... Review: This is probably the first textbook I've ever enjoyed reading. The layout is almost like a magazine, so it doesn't feel like you're really studying. The sections were clear and easy to follow, and the book definitely helped me do well in the course. In addition to explaining basic marketing concepts, the authors made it a point to include real-life scenarios every couple of pages or so. I wasn't particularly excited about the course, so it was nice to have a textbook that made the class a little more enjoyable.

Pretty broad overview of marketing. It was easy to read but may have been to simplified/broad in some areas. Examples were reasonably effective.

This was an excellent book . I needed it for my marketing principle class . It was current and fun. It read more like a magazine . It was insanely helpful for all of my tests and quizzes and papers . I actually enjoyed this book which is super weird to admit lol

Love the rental price and learned a lot from this book. Great book for an introduction into marketing. Easy to return back after done and also easy to extend rental time if needed.
