It's effective for cleaning the feeding tube it was the perfect length. Its easy to store and is of good quality. I use it daily and I would buy again.

I wish I bought this sooner because then I wouldn’t have been going through so many g-tube extensions if I was able to clean them properly. It cleans all the way to the tip of the extension that hooks up to the g-tube as you can see in the picture.

Home health only supply my daughter limited peg tube extension so it is up to us to make it last until next shipping. This product makes it easier to clean each peg tube. It is long, flexible and the bristle brush was short and durable. It is easy to navigate it through the peg tube opening -all the way through.

These cleaning brushes are a G-tube must have. These cleaning brushes are absolutely absolutely the only way to get your G tube connection tubing remotely clean clean and safe enough for repeated use.. I had tried every cleaning method you could possibly think of with no success. The first time I used 1 of these brushes I couldn't believe how well they cleaned the tubing with very little effort and great results. They are sturdy and easy to clean . I am convinced that this product has improved my granddaughters health and has given me piece of mind knowing that she has clean tubing for every feeding. Her connection tubing now lasts 3 times longer Then before. I no longer have to worry about running out of supplies due to not being able to get her tubing clean enough to safely use.

Our son has used a GI system for 10 years. Every day it has been a struggle to clean the tube -line that runs from his formula bag to his tummy. Since we are not allowed but a few of these lines per month (CRAZY INSURANCE LACK OF WANTING TO PAY) we have to clean them daily. Spending 15 minutes running hot water and using your fingers to try and get the thick formula out of tube is a lengthy process and when it isn't clean it means soaking in hot soapy water . Hoping that is rinses clean of soap and scum, BACTERIA PEOPLE my greatest fear, directly in his belly. I WANT TO THANK THE DESIGNER OF THIS PRODUCT WITH ALL OF MY HEART. I almost cried after I used it for the first time, the line came completely clean even the tip that inserts into his button. Having a tube fed individual in your life can have so many challenges and I will be eternally grateful to those that are making my life a little easier. I WILL ORDER MORE SO I NEVER RUN OUT. OMG...as the nurse/ gramma of a trach/vent/g-tube baby and a bit of a clean freak, this cleaning device is a life changer. The filmy old milk residue used to drive me nuts trying to squeeze and roll to get it out and still never came clean. This cleaner is perfect and the extensions look brand new! Our girl has a 12 French Mini-One. It cleans her straight bolus tube easily and the 90 degree tube a bit snug but easy enough, just have to hold on to the tube tight when running the cleaner up and down through it. I use a bit of Dawn and it slides easier. Thank you for this product, just what we needed!

While it is very sturdy, the metal wire doesn't allow for flexibility. I've used other tube cleaners where the brush is attached to strong, flexible plastic. The metal is also a bit too thick. Yesterday, I was afraid it wasn't going to come out of my tube or rip the tube. Had a few scary moments there. Next time, I will spend my money on a more flexible tube cleaner.

These cleaners are easy to use and work well at cleaning the gunk out of the extensions. I have a J-Tube Mic-Key button and I am limited in the amount of extensions my insurance will cover. These cleaners will extend the life of my extensions. They are longer and softer than a traditional straw cleaner so they reach all the way into the extension and they don't get stuck. They do still remove the gunk from formula and meds, though. Overall, a great purchase and 100% worth the small cost. Especially when you compare the cost of these to the cost of other tubie supplies. Thank you!

It's my life savior I have searched everywhere for G-tube pipe cleaning brush ,finally found it in amazon and this one perfectly does the job.

Why aren't these given out, or at least mentioned, by our home tube feeding department?! Our feeding extensions are so much cleaner now, and no struggling to get fatty residue or chunky things out of the extensions by just running copious amounts of hot water through a 60ml syringe attached to it. We do blended diet, but if I recall correctly, formula gets stuck in tubes too if it's not washed immediately. And let's be honest, sometimes it takes a hot minute to get to it. Life is busy with a medically complex kiddo, sometimes tubes sit for a while before getting cleaned. Especially since we syringe feed and there's no feeding bag, staring us in the face, reminding us. So yeah, get these, they're awesome. (we use 24 inch extensions, and there's room to spare on the wire on this brush)
