The polishing cloth for silver is so much ch easier than using the cream

Good product but didn’t help my tarnished platter much. There was no evidence of tarnish removal from the least to most tarnished areas so maybe an overall very slight improvement just not sufficient to change it.

This polishing cloth is perfect for touching up tarnished jewelry . It is handy to use as you just rub your jewelry with it and the tarnish rubs off. No longer do I use liquid polishes to brighten my jewelry.

I'm a jeweler, so I like to have a polishing cloth handy for quick touch ups when I refresh my displays at galleries and the like. This is by far my FAVORITE! There's no gunk to clean off like on a sunshine cloth, this cloth doesn't polish so much as clean the tarnish off..it makes things a tiny bit shinier (like when I use it on a matte finish) but it's more about removing tarnish and protecting from tarnish..it's not going to remove any scratches... There is a chemical (they say it's non-toxic) in it that also helps keep tarnish at bay afterwards too. It smells like crayons...but doesn't leave a smell on your piece. I've used it on ear wires and haven't had a problem with reactions or anything too. It's great on Argentium silver, but also does wonders on sterling and gold. A friend used it on some gold plated things that were very tarnished from being in a display for a while, and they came clean very quickly compared to the cloths she was using (probably sunshine?). It's very easy to use since you don't need to clean things again after using it, and it works quickly without too much pressure. If you need to actually polish something, it would be better to use something with more abrasives in it than this. I like this because of its lack of abrasives. I still don't use it on pearls or opals (avoid these when rubbing the metal surrounding them). Don't wash it, even if it's totally black (it'll take a while to get there!). I wish they had little packages of these I could send to customers when they buy things, like a 2x3" piece or something.

You need to work hard to remove tarnish.
