Bought this phone for my grandmother in a nursing home. With this phone having 4 big spots for pictures, it makes it easier for an aging family member to use. It features a cheap phone plan that works perfect for someone on a budget. The phone charges very quickly and lasts my grandmother all day with her using it occasionally.

I bought this to replace the house phone in my mother's house. She is in her 80s, has dementia, and simply can't see well. She can barely operate the house phone and there are too many telemarketers calling. It was too much money every month just to be harrassed by spammers. After looking all over the place, this phone seemed good with less features and big easy to use buttons for simplicity when calling. Everything else I looked at was too complicated for her. What ever happened to simple phones for elderly people? Well, this phone really turned out to be way too small. The big buttons aren't that big when you realize how small the phone is. After a few weeks, the thing just stopped working. When powered all the way up, just unplug it and it is dead as a door nail. It is garbage. Useless garbage. Why can't anyone just make a simple, easy to use cell phone for seniors? Stop with all the bells and whistles.

I don't understand the negative reviews of this phone. It's awesome! Just what a handicapped person needs! It's very good quality (all phones are plastic), easy to setup, easy to use, excellent service with Consumer Cellular, great battery life, & excellent 2-way audio over speakerphone. No complaints!

this phone is a joke! doesnt work, calls always drops, doesnt even ring most of the time.. they say so easy to use , if it actually work! wasted my money!

I bought this for my elderly mom who is in a nursing home. I bought this because they said it was easy to use for the elderly. Well, not so. It is not completely fool proof for an elderly person with a touch of dementia. There is a sliding on/off feature on the side of the phone that sucks because it is not easy to turn on and off OR her hand will turn it off by accident. The four easy to dial buttons are okay but there are several reasons why an elderly person would have trouble using them because there is more than one way to answer the phone. An elderly person does not need that option... there should only be one way to answer the phone for an older person like my mom. So, I do not recommend this phone for a person who is elderly. I think I could have designed a better phone for the elderly myself but this is not the one. To be fair it might work if your elderly person has no issues with dexterity.

This phone is perfect for my 90 year old Mom ! but it only worked one day. The microphone is not working anymore, My Mom can hear us when we call her but we CAN’T hear her! It’s a very easy phone so we are going to give it a second chance, I am Sending back and getting another! I’ll keep you posted!

I bought this for my grandfather who was having difficulty remembering how to use his smartphone and also struggling with his memory generally (I was unsure if he would be able to relearn how to use a pre-smart phone again). It is a great phone because with regular practice, he can dial out to 4 people programmed into his phone. It's not so great that he can't tell who is calling him-- he only sees the number, and he doesn't know who it is (no caller ID). So, he doesn't pick up the phone because it might just be a scammer. That's the biggest downfall because his friends and family can't get into contact with him. I'm hoping a future generation of this phone will have caller ID for the 4 numbers that can be programmed during set up.

Very useful for elderly senior citizens with limited abilities. Our mother (@ 92 yrs of age) has limited vision. It was important that she be able to contact her five children. So, the 4 programmable buttons worked great. The two-way reception quality was surprisingly clear & uninterrupted. My family strongly recommends this device. The T-Mobile connection offers unlimited call+text for under $20/month.

La mise en service n'est pas très intuitive, il faut bien lire le manuel. Par contre une fois que c'est fait, ce téléphone est vraiment bien pensé pour les personnes handicapées, ou âgées, ou ayant juste du mal avec la technologie ! • Très solide, ne craint pas les chutes et même qu'on renverse un peu de liquide dessus (c'est du vécu -_-). • Très simple à mettre en charge sur sa base, il suffit de le poser (même pas besoin de clipser une prise dans un trou, pas de risque de casse). • SUPER SIMPLE à utiliser : bouton "téléphone vert" pour tout ce qui a un sens d'acceptation : prendre un appel entrant, valider une action, ouvrir un menu ; bouton "téléphone rouge" pour tout ce qui a un sens de refus : raccrocher, annuler, sortir d'un menu. • Les quatre gros boutons de contacts peuvent accueillir une photo (ou un bout de papier avec le nom du contact), c'est facile à personnaliser et à comprendre, facile d'appuyer dessus vu leur taille (un appui long = appeler ce contact). Ceci dit, pour avoir testé depuis quelques mois ce produit avec une personne âgée très très diminuée cognitivement, ce téléphone est à l'épreuve de presque tout mais pas infaillible... car ça dépend aussi de l'utilisateur. Dans mon cas, l'utilisatrice a toujours des problèmes pour comprendre quand/comment elle appelle des gens, ou quand/comment elle peut décrocher pour prendre un appel entrant ; et surtout elle finit toujours par modifier le numéro de tél des contacts en ajoutant plein de chiffres sans s'en rendre compte ! Je ne sais même pas comment elle fait car pour ça, il faut aller dans les menus (qui ne sont pas vraiment une ligne droite)... Bref. Ce téléphone est top car à l'épreuve de presque tout, mais le problème se situe parfois entre la chaise et l'écran. ^^;;;

Es sencillísimo de preparar. Las reseñas que advierten del problema de que no se puede insertar el PIN para desproteger la tarjeta SIM es PORQUE NO HAN LEÍDO LAS INSTRUCCIONES. Una vez preparado el sistema permite la marcación de cuatro números desde teclas grandes. Aunque el teléfono en sí es del tamaño de unos naipes, es suficiente para el tipo de usuario al que está destinado, es decir, personas con problemas de visión o cognitivos. No pidamos más, por favor: pulsar y llamar, así de sencillo.

Die Idee mit den großen Tasten ist grundsätzlich gut. Aber wenn man andere Nummern wählen möchte, ist man aufgeschmissen. Das ist dann sehr(!) kompliziert. OK, für Demente mit bis zu für Ansprechpartnern aber grundsätzlich gut. Da hätte ich vier Sterne vergeben. Aber: In meinem Fall war der Akku defekt und ließ sich nicht laden. Deshalb nur 1 Stern und: Retoure.
