I absolutely loved every second of this experience. I started casting my bump around 36 weeks pregnant and my son is now 6 months old. Being able to look back at what my body looked (and felt!) like has been so heartwarming and wholesome. Everything is well packaged, and you get a good amount of casting rolls for the price – more than enough to do a full bump cast. It's important to set aside some time beforehand to set up a clean station; we used a plastic dust sheet which turned out to be essential. The plaster dust WILL get everywhere. I'd make sure you're able to top up your water with some warm water as you go along as it does tend to cool quite quickly. It's generally a self-explanatory process, albeit a bit finicky to apply at time, but you get the hang of it. You do have to work quite quickly though as it does start to harden. It's now mostly rock solid and would make an amazing vessel for silicone casting, etc. I will 100% pick up another for my second.

Absolute waste of money. Just made a mess and didnt get any castings done. Followed the instructions but there was no way a newborn baby was happy to keep her leg in that mixture for 9 minutes! Kicking it back and forth it ended up going everywhere including the kitchen floor. And shes still screaming traumatised from the experience. Wish I never bought it.

Firstly let me start by saying this will be my last baby so I wanted something to capture the memory of carrying my little active demon! I found the casting kit online and heard some great things from friends who have done it, so I thought wow great value for money, comes with the paints to decorate what could go wrong! Well, it all started out so well, plaster went on nicely, it almost felt relaxing with the warm water on my baby bump… all in all took about an hour to do the whole thing. I must say at the point at every high there then comes a great low! And this was it, the moment that my heart fell out of my bum, when I tried to remove the cast itself… the pinching, the pulling, the soreness! I thought to myself what on earth have I done, I say and panicked, had all the emotions going over my head, what if I end up in hospital having it removed, what if I’m stuck forever in a plaster cast, I won’t be able to give birth, I panicked more and more.. little did I know the movements of my rapid breathing were actually setting me free from a world of pain! After a good 40 minutes the cast finally moved enough for me to get the whole thing off & believe it or not it’s come out amazingly, I couldn’t be happier (a bit more skin left on would have been nice) but it is a fantastic way of making a memory last a lifetime! Needless to say ladies if you are going to do this ensure you have plenty of lubricant on your belly, any lotion, baby oil/moisturiser you can get your hands on pop it on before hand!! It will save your life!!! :D

Really good set, we created such gorgeous little hand and feet casts that we will keep forever. Remember to pour a little in and tip it right round the mould just pouring it in and banging the air bubble didn’t actually get the cement to all nooks and crannies, I actually bought this again and did a second casting it was much better! This is a perfect baby shower gift for anyone expecting 🥹
