Worked for me with modification
These tires are the closest I can find to the size of the original tires for the vintage Duratrax Nitro Quake. Physically, they match up pretty well with height ,width and tread. One issue I had was the hex hub adapters are for 12mm and 17mm. I needed a 19mm. I sent a 17mm hub adapter to a good friend of mine who was able to 3D scan it and modify the scan and then 3D print me a 19mm hex hub adapter to fit the Duratrax nitro Quake. So now these wheels and tires will work for my application. The only other issue I can point out, these tires are heavier than the originals. That will rob the truck of power, but at least I can run the truck again and get rid of the dry rotted tires currently on it now.

Too weak can’t handle not even a little power cheap floppy tires
Very weak serious ballooning flop around they definitely cannot handle any kind of power not even a little from a RC car they would be good for a toy for a little kid to push around that’s it

Exactly what I was looking for.
Larger size than most of the popular brands right now. Good quality, comes with foam inserts. The tire material is a bit stiffer than I was hoping for, but still very good. I purchased these for for an upcoming scale project.

Great Clodbuster replacements!
Just ordered these and they are just slightly taller then stock clod tires, but about the same width. They come with 2 separate adapters for mounting on 12mm or 17mm axles. NICE touch. The foams in them ARE very firm, so I just removed them and with the vent holes on the wheels they seem about just right. Would buy again.

Pretty good for price!
Used the 1/8’s for traxxas maxx. They work good so far I belted and glued them with duct tape and super glue and they work well. BEWARE NOT TO SCREW THE SCREWS IN TOO TIGHT OR THE RIMS BREAK

You get what you pay for
Before reading this review I would like you to understand that I would buy these again even if I knew ahead of time what would happen. I still saved money overall and learned something new in the process. I love the style of these tires but didn’t want to spend more than twice as much for the higher quality the other companies have. Since I don’t drive it hard I thought it wouldn’t be a problem saving some money as I wouldn’t have to worry about the lower quality. I was wrong. The good First off, I love the look of these. They’re bigger than stock but not overly big where it causes problems or looks gaudy. They’re cheap, unfortunately it’s not just the price but also the quality. I have only taken them out twice, so I cannot attest to how long they will last nor how durable they will be in the long run. I was able to get a top speed run in and didn’t notice any ballooning, but that may be because I did a decent job with gluing the tires to the wheels. They don’t come pre-glued, if that wasn’t already obvious. The bad As you can see from the pictures the wheels suffered a catastrophic failure on their maiden voyage. I drove it for a couple of minutes and after hitting a few bumps both of the front wheels broke off at the hub. If you look at the last picture I provided, the one with the lonely screw, you can see what appears to be a black washer on it. That’s not a washer. That is the amount of material that is holding the wheel hub to the wheel itself. So it makes sense for it to fall apart at the sign of even a little bit of rough riding. Alas all hope is not lost for these. If you’re handy and don’t mind putting in some extra work and spending a couple of dollars more then these wheels are for you. If you don’t want to go through the trouble then maybe these wouldn’t be a good fit. I added pictures of the fix. If you’re curious what is needed to either fix this issue or prevent it from happening then read on. All you need to fix this issue is 6 machine screws for each wheel (3mm x 20mm with a 0.50mm pitch), along with 12 x 3mm washers per wheel, and 6 x 3mm/0.50mm pitch nuts per wheel. I tried nylon locking nuts but they protrude too far out from the back of the hub and end up hitting the axle knuckle. You may be able to use nylon locking nuts if you reverse the screw so the nut is facing towards the outside of the wheel, but I am not sure because I didn’t try it. You can actually get away with not using a nut at all as the plastic hub accepts 3mm machine screws with a 0.50mm pitch, albeit a little shorter. If you’d like to go that route then all you’d need is 6 machine screws per wheel (3mm x 16mm w/0.50mm pitch) and 6 x 3mm washers. I gave them 3 stars because I actually like them but couldn’t give them more because they shouldn’t have come apart as easily as they did.
