They will not stick inside my car...

1) Stop. 2) Look and feel around your car to find the best place to locate them. 3) Tape will NOT stick to any surface other than a hard surface (plastic, metal etc). It will NOT stick to soft, plush, velour, material surfaces etc. 4) Wipe the surface you intend to stick the lights to thoroughly with a clean damp cloth. 5) Give the surface you intend to stick the lights to a firm wipe with rubbing alcohol on a dry cloth. 6) Peel off the waxed paper covering the stick surface, and press the light strip FIRMLY against the hard surface you are sticking them to, and keep pressed firmly for at least 30 seconds before fixing the remaining light strips. It sticks perfectly. Result!

This may, or may not be too obvious, but have you removed the tiny and (exceedingly) thin and clear plastic battery saver which is in the remote when it arrives? They can be difficult to even see on some products these days.
