I Can Read It! Book 2

These are great books for kids to learn to read or practice reading. As a homeschooling mom, I have a daughter who was struggling with her reading a bit and did not like to do all of the written work involved in most programs. It was tedious for her and took the joy out of learning. Last year I purchased these I Can Read It! books and used these for her reading program instead. We used them by reading a column of words from the words list book each day (the word lists book has lessons that include about 5 columns of words and correspond to about 5 stories in the "story" books) and then reading the stories that go along with the lesson that we were on. You could use this without the word lists, but I liked having them and thought they added an extra element of practice :) I will continue to use these! Highly recommend!

The stories are cute and short enough for my daughter to not get frustrated.

Stories are pretty cute, it's less advanced than what my first grader needed this year, but for beginning readers this book would be super cute and fun.

Perfect for teaching my child to read. Great Price!

Kids like it and want to read it, but they stories are choppy and incoherent. I would not recommend it.
