I originally bought the Fiskars 45mm Rotary Cutter for Fabric with Ergonomic Loop Grip because I needed something to fix the mess I made with scissors on the tulle skirt for one of my daughter's dance costumes. Let me just say, this cutter was a total game changer! The scissors had left jagged edges and uneven lines that looked pretty sad, so I decided it was time to try something new. I honestly didn't expect much, but wow, was I surprised. First off, the ergonomic loop grip is really comfortable. The blade is sharp, like, seriously sharp! It sliced through the fabric so smoothly, leaving clean edges that made the tulle look like it did before I cut with the scissors. I ended up using my Cricut board as a base to stick the fabric to, and that combo worked even better than I'd hoped. The rotary cutter glided over the fabric without snagging or skipping, It made fixing my earlier mistakes a breeze, and honestly, I was kind of having fun by the end. The whole process went from stressful to enjoyable thanks to this tool. I wish I'd bought it sooner!

These are great! I am a short girl and I bought these for a particular pair of sweatpants. I have since successfully used them to cut several pairs of sweatpants and jeans too. The last one I did, the blade struggled a bit. Not sure if it can be sharpened? It could get dull after cutting a lot of fabric. But I am glad I bought it. I have used it at least 10 different times.

beats scissors for any long or extended cutting. I can't cut a straight line with scissors and I am able to use a ruler with the rotary cutter.
