Bought this starter set+ 2 expansion accessories (a cannon and a spinner) for my 4.5yr old this Christmas - he's loving it- it definitely needs an adult help setup, but it's quite an enjoyable activity to come up with patterns and trajectories together. Just know that this starter pack is actually quite enough - it has a launcher (3 balls at the same time - see video we used two in this example) and a cannon, so the expansion wasn't actually required, although if you do get it, the extra cannon will obviously give you more options). Quality seems quite good, I expected the grey bits to be metal, they are plastic, but not too flimsy, time will tell how long it lasts but seems quite sturdy. PS: box says 8+, probably because it's a bit more complex than the usual simple versions, but I found my 4.5yr old can do quite a bit once I showed him the first few times.

Big starter set that can be used over several months. There are easy exercises and later on it graduates to puzzles. Kids can enjoy this for hours. It is a very good complement to Lego sets - combines the creativity and construction of Lego with the fun of marble runs!

My 7 year old grandson was immediately impressed by this - finding time to construct a working layout as a matter of priority. Although receiving a new bike, huge Lego models and other goodies the gravitrax was present of the day.

My kids can spend hours setting it up and watching it go! It's a well designed product with great opportunity to keep the fun alive with endless add-ons.

Das GraviTrax Starter-Set hat bei uns voll überzeugt. Der Einstieg war durch die Anleitungen einfach, sodass die Kinder direkt loslegen und erste Bahnen problemlos aufbauen konnten.Besonders schön ist, dass es nicht nur beim Nachbauen bleibt. Mittlerweile werden eigene Strecken gebaut und die Kreativität ist richtig geweckt. Man merkt schnell, wie viel Spaß das Experimentieren und Ausprobieren macht.Die Qualität ist, wie man es von Ravensburger kennt, sehr gut und die Teile halten auch bei häufiger Nutzung gut.Für Kinder, die gerne bauen, tüfteln und ausprobieren, eine klare Empfehlung. Wirklich ein tolles System mit viel Potenzial.

Visade sig bli det 6-åriga barnbarnets favoritjulklapp. Går att bygga om på många olika sätt. När han fyller år skall han få en som bygger mer vertikalt. Ser ut att kunna bli något kul att leka med i flera år framöver då det finns ännu mer avancerade varianter. Denna var dock lagom för 6-åringen. Tror inte man skall vara yngre än så för denna.
