Great book
I got this book for my grandson when he was 3 and loved it. He is 5 now and it’s still one of his favorites.

A fun learning of the human body for kids
A very fun way to learn about the body for kids. There are so many flaps to lift and it is explained in a way for young children.

Flaps on flaps on flaps
This book has turned my child into a tiny anatomy professor—and I have never been more impressed and exhausted. Thanks to its colorful flaps and fun facts, my kid now sees it as his mission to educate anyone who will listen on every single body part at all hours of the day. “Did you know your intestines are really long?” The book itself is fantastic—engaging, interactive, and packed with just the right amount of detail to make kids feel like mini scientists without overwhelming them. Between this and that Magic School Bus episode where they get eaten for lunch, my kid officially knows more than I do.

It's what it says: perfect for curious minds and fingers
My kids love this and it's complimenting their school studies really well. The flaps haven't torn off yet (one has a little tear) but they love lifting the flap and looking at the pictures. Ideal for K-4, though my 5th grader is also enjoying it.

Love but has thin flaps
This is a fun book with lots of flaps. The information is interesting but age appropriate. I do wish the flaps were a little thicker, they are more paper like than board like if that makes sense. Overall that's not a big deal and we have enjoyed the book and would buy again.

Perfect for curious pre-k
I searched and searched for something that explained how some practical aspects of the body work when my very curious pre-k kid was asking tons of questions and soaking up the answers. We were using Google image for so many things — but this book is a million times more effective. So many flaps, such good and clear information.

Fun and informative book
My child (4) is learning about the body at Kindergarten, so I bought this book to continue the topic at home. Usborne has an excellent selection of books, so no surprise that the quality of the book was great. Thick pages, robust flaps, clear pictures, age-appropriate explanations. I especially appreciated the page about the brain. My 4yo's favorite was the description of the digestive system. I also would have appreciated mention of reproductive anatomy but I guess there are other books for that. The one thing to watch out for is this book has a LOT of flaps. And flaps within flaps. This was fine for my 4yo, but my 2yo definitely can't be trusted with the book. You also have to be careful that all of the flaps are properly closed before closing the book!
