Delivered in a standard Amazon box that you could have fitted 4 boxes of light bulbs in but it was very secure and very light. The box of bulbs had a tamper seal on the opening. Inside the 6 bulbs were held securely in place. The bulbs were all white and much better finished off than the halogen bulbs that I had been using. It's interesting to note that my halogen bulbs used 28W as opposed to these new LED bulbs at 4.5W. That's a big difference, especially in my kitchen where the light is on more so than most rooms. They did seem a little bit brighter. The light bulbs spread out the light evenly in all directions, I was very impressed. In comparison the halogen bulbs seemed on par with something from the last century. I had a problem with my kitchen light, it's about 14 years old and some of the plastic ornamentation around the bulbs had broken. With these new bulbs the finish is such that the bare bulbs look fine without any coverage. So Iove the bulbs and the company did a great job sending them out for my one day delivery. Now for the one problem and it's entirely my own fault. As the lights were for my kitchen I thought the daylight bulbs at 6500K would do the job. If you want daylight in your kitchen then they are fine but it does give the kitchen a more workman like atmosphere. As I have energy saving bulbs in the rest of my house, a warm yellow light, the difference moving from kitchen to the hall or the livingroom is very obvious. Only now do I realise how yellow the light is everywhere else. It really is a very stark different. In light of this, no pun intended, I've decided to order the 2700K warmer light bulbs from the same supplier. Not sure what I'll do with the bulbs that I currently have but you learn from your mistakes I suppose.

LVWIT E14 LED Light Bulb gives off a lovely warm light and is surprisingly bright for its size. Screws in easily and comes on instantly with no flicker. A great energy-saving replacement for traditional bulbs.

A good buy at a good price

Can't believe the difference these bulbs have made in our bathroom .The previous LED bulb where gradually losing their brightness, I don't know why ? ,but these have transformed it.They are good value ,look well made ,and hopefully will last as long as expected /claimed for these bulbs.I have a number of bulbs with a variety of fittings/connections and when required will look to replace them with this make.

Bright and of good quality

I purchased these bulbs to replace one of my old LED bulbs in the kitchen which had blown after lasting for the best part of 5 years. In contrast to the old LED bulb that it replaced, the light output is similar, if not slightly brighter but there is not a lot in it. The biggest plus point is that these are a much better fit for my light fitting, it does not protrude out from my light fitting as much as the older bulb that it replaced, giving a much more comtemporary look (refer to the attached pitcures which show the old and the new LED bulb). Another plus point is the price. I paid 22.50 pounds for 4 bulbs in May 2012. I purchased these for over 10 pounds less and got two extra bulbs! Perhaps this illustrates how led technology has improved over the years and what a bargain these actually are. I went for the cool white option (it is a bright daylight colour) which is perfect for the kitchen area as, in my opinion, it gives a better all round illumination than the warm white (which gives a slightly yellowish colour). The light output from these bulbs is the equivalent of a 40w halogen bulb. If these bulbs last as long as the older led bulbs then this will be a bonus. In any case there is a 3 year warranty with these bulbs so heads you win, tails you do not lose! I like these odds.

The lights are a nice bright white light as described but unfortunately they do not fully turn off without upgrading to an LED dimmer switch. Too bright when powered off to be ignored. Would keep you awake in a bedroom.
