No timer - it gives an approximate time guide for you to follow and as the condition of what you are dehydrating varies so much you always check if the time has been enough anyway and keep repeating the drying until a condition for storage is achieved. A timer is not really relevant. Hope this helps.

The system now only runs the fans with no heat making the system useless. Very upset with the product but the seller ...

The machine they sent me the first time failed to turn on, we returned it and was sent a new unit.I used it for the first time yesterday and the heating element burned out within 4 hours running on mild heat. I simply had a blanched leaf vegetable modesty spread on 8 on all 10 trays. The system now only runs the fans with no heat making the system useless. Very upset with the product but the seller seems to be an honest friendly dealer so I believe the blame is on the manufacturer.

Only works on top shelves

Only the top 2/3 shelves work. I had it full of mushrooms at the weekend and after 18 hours the other shelves looked like I had just picked them
