This is a 2.4m long galvanised one piece washing line pole. Our last washing line pole arrived in 3 or 4 pieces and was painted. That rusted and collapsed on itself in less than 2 years. So instead of a cheap one i have to replace every couple of years i wanted a single piece pole that was galvanised and heavy duty. This is absolutely what this is. Yes it is double the price of those cheap painted ones but it will outlive them all by a long way. It arrives already assembled. You get the pole with 4 way post at the top, and an additional galvanised sleeve for the base when setting in the ground. It's easy to setup. This is wider than the cheap one we had last so i had to dig and set a new washing line foundation using some concrete post mix. But they give you a separate galvanised sleeve so it's very easy to setup, then if i want to i can take the post inside in the winter. Which is brilliant. Both the pole and sleeve are made of thick steel pipe with a galvanised finish. I did try and squeeze the new pipe into the old foundation and even a few scratches the galvanised finish is nice and thick and undamaged. I ran 2 20m washing lines from this pole and it didn't even flinch. No sign of bending or bowing. It has worked fantastically aand i am confident it is going to last several years without any issues. Sturdy, good quality pole
Ordered this washing pole as it was in one piece, more expensive but worth the extra as the quality is very good. Not yet installed as waiting for my garden to be finished. Great reviews and very happy with it.

This replacement washing pole is of a very high quality and at an extremely low price. All in one piece and galvanized for strength and longevity.

Really heavy than expect and good item. Just not sure if it will get rusty left outside.

Strong one piece design.

Pleased with it was worried as some had said it was one of those two piece poles but came as one and for £40 roughly can't fault it. Edit...having now used it can confirm very sturdy no bend what so ever definitely recommend 5*
