SteelRebound: Stainless Steel Soccer Rebounder with HDPE Board - Enhanced Rebound Performance, Stability, and Durability - Soccer Training Equipment

I bought this rebounder for my club-soccer-playing son, who is very into improving his soccer skills at home in any way possible. We were both super impressed at the quality, and love that it can be turned in two different directions to alter the rebound effect. With the sandbags, you can really strike it hard without moving the rebounder. The rebounder has a metal faceplate, which makes it look very sleek and sharp, but unfortunately, that faceplate bends/warps after just a few uses (if you really smoke it with the ball, like my son does. In the house. ☹️. But I digress.). The warping makes a tinny sound and has a small impact on the rebounding effect. The good news is that the faceplate isn’t really necessary and the rebounder functions great without it. Related to the issue above, I want to share how impressed I am by the company’s customer service. I emailed the company directly on a Sunday evening, and within a couple of hours, on a Sunday night, I received a helpful, empathetic response from Norge himself. I couldn’t believe it. In my communication with his company, I learned more about Norge and his very small business, and couldn’t help but to be inspired by him and his entrepreneurial journey and mission. I always like to support small and microbusinesses, so I feel great about supporting him further. I plan to closely follow his business for more well-made sports products in the future!

Great for training all ages!

The wall works mostly as intended - it’s portable, has good heft, and both orientations provide good bounce returns. I’d like it to be a little wider, but it’s the size I expected. I don’t understand the value of the metal attachment, though. I guess it could provide more durability, but whatever the material of the board is made of seems plenty tough for use with a soccer ball on its own. The issue I have with it is that the board curves when cold, which makes the metal layer buckle (see photos). When this happens, a ball hitting the middle of the board makes a loud “thwack” as the metal snaps back, and the bounce back is deadened. I’ve removed the metal layer on mine and it works perfectly fine without it. If you’re attracted to this rebounder because of the metal, plan on only using it in warm (> 50 degrees F) weather.

I bought this for my 12 year old son as a training aid and he loves it! Solid construction and weight, along with the sandbag allow the ball to bounce back quickly and with force. One thing to note...the description says the rebounder comes with 2 sandbags, but in fact they have updated the product so that it now comes with just a single, larger sandbag you can put directly behind the board for stability (you can put about ~50 pounds of sand in this single sandbag vs. two smaller ones w/ ~20 pounds each).

Great product. Unfortunately, I underestimated how hard it would be for a child to carry it across a field's length to the training area. The weight and dimension of the product is a plus (for adults) but too heavy for most children.

Great soccer rebounder. Well made, heavy and sturdy. Is heavy to carry around but needed to stay standing while my son is kicking against it.

Made of good material but it does have drawbacks. It does not work well on field grass. It’s made more for a turf field or professional field setup. Kicking the ball against it does not give a good rebound with the same amount of energy that you place into the kick. So what disappointed. It’s not travel friendly, so you’re going to be hauling around a heavy piece of metal and wood. If I had a second chance I would not have bought it. A brick wall is your best friend when it comes to practicing football.

I received my first one and had the issue that many had with the metal plate being bent. Reached out directly to the team who made it right and sent a new one! It's a well built sturdy rebounder that is easy to transport anywhere do to it's weight, size, and functionality!
