Perfect for your SKS/Type 56 carbine load-out needs.
Unused, new-old military stock. Good quality and excellent value for money. The one I got had a slightly different stitching pattern on the pocket flaps than in the photo, and the larger pocket on the end for the oiler wasn't made of a different plasticized fabric, but instead came with a separate plastic inner liner -- a nice upgrade.Came with the usual military-surplus preservative odor, so did my usual machine wash cycle with unscented detergent and a splash of vinegar. From experience, time in the sunlight will get rid of the remaining slight chemical smell.Functionality is fine: Pockets each easily fit one standard, filled 10-round SKS/Type 56 carbine stripper clip. Two clips will fit tightly in each. Straps have ample length and adjust to fit large-framed individuals. I added a modern plastic buckle designed for 1" webbing to the back strap and it works fine.UPDATE: Liked it so much, I bought a second one. New-old stock, great condition, also with the separate inner liner for the oil bottle pocket.

Why did the Chinese name both the AK and the SKS “type 56…”
Great piece of surplus. Even has a fantastic smell. It is meant for 10-round SKS clips, though. Not type 56 AKM mags.Blame the Communists for this. They called both rifles “type 56.” I might actually find use for it: I prefer a cavalry ammo bag, but this would be great for flash bangs, smoke grenades, and molotovs. If I needed to run a full throwables loadout, this might come it handy. It’s also handy for other utilities like a tourniquet or flash light or compass. It’s 10 little pockets, all around your chest; use your imagination. It fit comfortably, but was a struggle to take off for some reason.Sturdy and utilitarian. It’s pure cotton. It should last a long time and stand up to abuse.

Cartridge pouch/bandoliere.
Good item. As described...new. a bit stiff with age, but like new. Shipped promptly, and arrived same.

Good Quality; Bad Smell
very realistic and authentic look for a good price too, my only big complaint is the smell. When opening the package everything smelt of strong and old rubber; which after airing it out is not as noticeable but still there. The Bandoleer's relatively small which is a good thing for my small frame and as for its feel it's not too tight or too loose which makes it very comfortable to wear.

SKS strap was broken piece that goes around the front side block the Brown leather Broke in half
Delivery was quick most of the order was correct a part of the strap that I ordered was That loops around the front side block was broken and dry rotted other than that it was just fine everything else

Holds AR-15 magazines!
Holds AR-15 magazines, but the loops will not close if you do so. Connect some hair ties to the closing mechanisms and it will fit. If you have trouble inserting and removing your mags, shove wood blocks in it and soak overnight to loosen. Good ol fashion chicom charm and great value for a rugged, battle tested product.
User
Great ammo carrier
Fantastic item for carrying extra ammo. Whether you're wearing it or just using it in lieu of an ammo box at the range, this item keeps stripper clips well organized.

seems legit
fits 20 capacity usgi mags very VERY snug though. Extremely snug. Can get them in and out but its not something you can do with one hand whilst using the other to hold something…still, never the intended use and is a hardy piece of kit. 5 stars.~Sincere review from FakeReviewH8r
