Amazing
ordered other colours (yellow and burnt orange) first however the printing on them appeared either: uneven, dark or non existent (which is probably as it’s more to do with practice and understanding how long to leave it outside for). I ordered the blue as it had a much higher rating and was definitely not disappointed. From its first use the image i used is easily visible- would definitely recommend.

Fun art project
Washes well, colour slightly different to review but still a good shade, pretty good value

Unpredictable
I bought this for a uni project and though the first two prints turned out pretty well prints after that were completely washed out after cleaning as directed. These prints can be so cool when it works but it’s so unpredictable and I do not think the information on the back of the bottle is sufficient as I had to constantly look up potential solutions to issues I was having. It took longer than the bottle suggests for development and the colours don’t really match the images on the bottle. I’ve attempted to contact customer support over my issues with this product but it appears they do not respond.

Extremely disappointed
I have used Jacquard products lots and have had no issues with exposure times etc. when using this “black” solarfast i was disappointed that it turned out brown no matter what exposure time was used etc. Want a refund !

Good value
Tried this out on thick watercolour paper and got a lovely result. A little goes a long way so good value!

I knows there’s a learning curve but so far no luck
I am usually a cyanotype user…decided to try solarfast. Bought many colours but trying the orange first. I have followed instructions, YouTube videos, etc. cannot get it to work. They always look bleached out. The colour is dull and the exposure looks weak and I am using a very strong uv lamp to expose. Gonna keep working on it but so far…not so good.

These do not work smoothly like the traditional blue cynotype and the colour is not black it is similar to blue.

El producto actúa bien, pero no es el color de la etiqueta. Es un color verde...aún así es bonito.

Either I don't know how to use it, or it's the same as cyanotype and the black comes out blue! I tried it on paper and on textiles, the result is the same... I still liked this product that I will continue to use!

Inutile, prodotto vecchio che è già in partenza colorato e quindi non avrete mai un contrasto decente. Inoltre è quasi impossibile da rimuovere dai supporti, quindi alla luce il risultato peggiorerà sempre.

I was a little skeptical because the dye looked gray and soapy out the bottle. I have done cyanotypes before so I was expecting a more watery dye. It worked great. I dyed a pair of jeans shorts (cotton/elastane blend) and exposed it to sunlight for 10 mins. I did not use the recommended detergent to wash my clothes and the design held up.
