soundcore Glow Mini

I saw this speaker randomly scrolling through many here on Amazon .. Price point on par with other reputable, popular, cost friendly/budget speakers like JBL Go3. Which I'm using as a comparison for price & sound. Sound quality: blows the Go3 away. Hands down. Much cleaner sounding highs, mids & even has really good low end/bass for such a small speaker. Overall sound clarity is superb, full & well balanced. Volume level is a bit louder than Go3 as well. Doesn't necessarily feel as "rugged" as Go3.. However Go3 is built to take tumbles & such..which it has proven it's durability in the hands of all who own one. The Glow also feels solid/sturdy, has a quility feel for the build. I'm sure it stand up to daily abuse. It's built with a thick plastic body, Rubberized bottom & the "rubber footprint" is really stable. Does Not move or slightly "dance" around unlike it's predecessors Anker Mini, Mini 2,Mini 3 & 3Pro all of which I own. Connectivity is seemless & simple (with voice prompt.) As it should be. Charging is type-C & only input port on device,located in the "back" under finger loop behind a rubber flap/door. As for the buttons... The layout is flat & stupid. The party cast button should be in the rear or on the end with the other buttons. Best place in my opinion is where the power on/off/play/pause/call answer/call hang-up button is. The rest of the buttons seem fine but those 2 buttons should be swapped. It's a senseless design & flawed. It's not intuitive at all. JBL, Bose, Skullcandy, random off brands etc.. Have a much better button layouts that makes sense... Even prior Anker Mini speakers have a better button layout. Why they changed it on this product is beyond my understanding & I'm quite sure many will agree with that point of view. Some things need to be left alone, things ppl are used to. Button layout happens to be one of those things. Anker really dropped the ball on this... Which hampers the overall ease of use. It's already difficult to discern the buttons in dim lighting. In dim lighting it Would be nice to know where they are/*which button is which* if they were raised a lil more - that would be enough so you can tell which button does what without directly looking directly at them as well. The light effects are cool, very colorful & not to bright but bright enough for outdoor day use & can be seen however not so much in sunlight.. But that can be said about any speaker that has light effects. So definitely not a caveat. The description states that in the soundcore app you can tweek the lighting & sound effects...which can be found in the app audio EQ settings. The sound effects are nice. Has custom EQ settings as well as presets to chose from... As for the lighting effects. You can customize in a variety of colors & ways. Neat features most other devices do not have. Fun to tinker with.. Phone calls on this speaker seem clear for the recipient on the other end with no breakup or garbly static. Not much else to say about it as I just got it & so far am very pleased with it. It has an app & great feature set for a speaker this size that sounds REALLY GOOD & is quite impressive... Checks all the boxes for me & I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up getting a sound quality award . It really is top notch... But the button layout is rediculous to the point of drunken stupidity. Battery life - sufficient, could be better but good enough. Value - yes, very good product, well worth the money.

I purchased this speaker together with its counterpart the Soundcore Glow portable speaker. The Mini to be used at work as it's compact and does not take up a lot of space on my desk. The regular sized one is for when I work in my studio. Comparing the two, the Mini has better sound than the regular one. Maybe there is a setting on the big one, I don't know because I haven't tried. But right out of the box, the Mini blows the regular sized one out of the water. I am impressed by the sound quality for such a small speaker. I love that it is that small, so it's easy to pack into a bag when going out of town, or since it has a loop, it could be just be attached to a bag with a carabiner for "music on the go". I can highly recommend this speaker!

I'll start off by saying that it's been really difficult to find reviews and documentation on this product. It almost seems like soundcore is abandoning this particular model. That being said, the speaker does have pretty decent sound quality for its size, the light functions are a nice bonus, charging is fairly straightforward, battery tends to last a long time, app connectivity is nice and the sound is decent. These do support stereo pairing with each other and pairing was painless. However I was struck with the thought that the Sony xb100 are much better speakers by far and for close to the same price. I think the Sony xb100s are a better value with better sound with a slightly smaller form factor. I prefer the Sony XB-100 for better sound, ease of use with better button placement and visibility.

This sound core show mini has good sound and works perfectly, can be tuned through the Sound core app,sound may be tuned to a persons individual preference , connected very well, and is a treasured addition to my collection, two thumbs up.

This is convenient and produces much more sound than I expected. It's perfect for travel in the car or for when getting ready in the bathroom. I also like that it's somewhat waterproof (I haven't had any major mishaps yet, so I'm not sure how waterproof beyond being OK getting moderately wet in the rain). I had hoped it could mesh with my Neo Rave speaker, but the models don't seem to be compatible. Now I have to decide if I want to buy a 2nd Rave or a 2nd Glow Mini for use when taking to parties.

it has an incredible light show with every color mixing into eachother with really good sound quality and good bass i love soundcore there my top 1 favorite i wish though it was usb a one side and usb c on the other side not both usb c on both side other than that its an incredible bluetooth speaker

it sounded great and looked great. i am a huge fan of this brand. however the tiny and impossible to see "knobs" were a ridiculous design feature. but the reason i returned it is that it would not pair with my macbook pro (i tried numerous times and it was a hit and a miss). my other Bluetooth devices immediately paired with it. later on, i will order a different Soundcore product because overall I have no complaints about this brand. when i ever had a faulty speaker (it has happens a few times but i have bought about 7 speakers over the years) i have been able to return them/exchange them.

In all honesty I didn’t think it would be as powerful as it is. Soundcore is making leaps and bounds with their speakers! I will be getting another one of these speakers to test the party mode option. Even with out that it’s a really good if not the best for its size and price! Also it’s hard to find a speaker of this size with sub-c. I will buy another and would for sure send this as a gift!

Great little speaker. Battery that actually lasts around the claimed time. Feels very polished and well made. Was a bit afraid of the clear part cracking if dropped as it is small and slippery but so far it's doing ok. The light patterns has 5 patterns+ambient by default as well as custom patterns from 11 predefined x a pattern of 3, can be customized so pretty comprehensive. Light brightness can be adjusted as well as off, eq. Very impressed with the functions and sound quality. This speaker is fairly app driven, without the app you can still use the base functions but the app does add extra making it worthwhile to have. The light is not just one, it looks like atleast 8 LEDs in a circular pattern so there are some patterns that makes it go round. Sound quality is very nice and rounded unlike cheaper no-name brands. The power on and off sounds are minimal, which is great, this is a great selling point as most no name brand speakers have obnoxiously loud tones not in alignment to the audio volume. It's nice touch that shows thoroughly the quality, experience and thoughtfulness that went into the soundcore products. The only improvement I would suggest is the make the onboard buttons easier to see/tell the difference, they are very fine raised rubber but not very obvious to see or touch.

The sound quality is amazing sound, clear and actual really good and for the price its amazing 10/10 recommend.

Der Sound ist mit der App einstellbar und der Bass ist für die größe gut (im Umkreis von etwa 3m, darüber hinaus schwächer). Die Lichteffekte können ebenfalls am Speaker oder in der App eingestellt werden und können sich zur Musik bewegen (diverse Modi), eine Art zweifarbiges Feuer simulieren, in einem dauerleuchtenden Farbwechsel Ambient Mode oder komplett Aus geschaltet werden. M.m.n. ist er klanglich kräftiger und voller mit mehr Volumen als die vorigen getesteten Alternativen. Tribit Stormbox Micro II (guter Sound, fragwürdige Qualität, bereits 3x Lautsprecher durchgeblasen und Umtausch), JBL Go, Anker Mini 3 Pro, Bose Micro... der Glow ist hiervon mit Abstand mein Lieblingsspeaker, etwas größer, etwas mehr Volumen als die aufgezählten Alternativen und klanglich bester oder einer der besten in dieser Klasse. Wenn man einen ganzen Raum in angemessener Qualität beschallen möchte, sollte man die größere Variante avisieren (Glow Mini: 8 Watt/Glow: 30 Watt). Wem die Größe ausreicht und wer die App zur Klanganpassung (zumindest 1x) nutzt, wird mit diesem Speaker sehr happy sein.

Anteriormente tuve problema con la bocina que pedí por aquí, llegando a dañarse en el sentido que se oía distorsión, pero al pedir soporte técnico por el vendedor y luego de evaluar la situación, me otorgaron una unidad de reemplazo, por lo que subo mi calificación dada a la pronta atención y que la nueva unidad llegó en perfecto estado. Esperemos que dure mucho el reemplazo, ya que en cuanto al sonido si me gusta mucho.
