I’m in a temporary studio setup for a few months and the space is basically all hard surfaces. Concrete floors, framed walls, no drywall yet, just the bones of a basement remodel. Sound was bouncing everywhere. I picked this up to add some soft surfaces and it made a noticeable difference right away. The size is huge and perfect thickness and that’s honestly one of the best parts. It covers a lot of space, which is exactly what I needed. I hung it behind my green screen and even took the green screen down so I could see and hear how the blanket was working on its own. It definitely reduced echo and helped tame reflections in the room. The material feels durable and well made. The stitching is solid, no weird chemical smell at all, and the edges feel like they’ll hold up to being moved and rehung. The grommets make it easy to hang and adjust without fighting with it. This isn’t magic soundproofing and it’s not meant to be, but as a temporary fix it works really well. I’m actually ordering another one to put in front of me so I can kind of encapsulate my podcast setup and limit sound bouncing off every hard surface around me. If you’re in a temporary space, a basement, or a room that hasn’t been fully treated yet, this is a really effective and flexible solution. It did exactly what I needed it to do. So for such a big area it covers it’s a great value for the money.

Bought this as a winter secondary curtain for my basement sliding door. It's HEAVY so make sure your curtain rods are properly installed or it will break them. Due to its thick nature it's great for sound deadening. Which is terrific if you want to quiet down outside highway noise.. It's thick so no light will get through it. And as I can confirm from the winter season.. It does a terrific job keeping the cold air from a slightly drafty old sliding door out of the room and that is exactly what I needed it for. Just make sure your rod can support the weight and this is a good looking quality and properly sized durable curtain. I didn't notice any issues with an odor with mine when opened. But as with anything fabric related.. I always suggest people WASH Them before they use them. (I didn't however.)

I use this blanket to cover the entrance door of my apartment at night in order to reduce the noise from neighbors in the hallway. Good quality - thick and heavy enough to absorb sound. Convenient to install on a hanging rod and slide along the rod by hand. The blanket looks good to the eye and feels good to the touch. It does reduce noise so functions as intended. I am happy with this purchase. Good value. With my indoor use, I expect this blanket to last for a long time.

I got this to reduce the noise coming from the room where I keep my 3D printer, and it made a much bigger difference than I expected. It is especially good at cutting down the higher-pitched whine from the printer, which was the most noticeable and annoying part of the noise. It also helps reduce the general sound coming from the room overall. For my use case, it worked very well and made the room noticeably quieter from the outside. Very happy with it. There was a slight smell coming from it, wasn't very pleasing and but I am happy to report that it went away after a few days. The size is large and the thickness really adds some weight to it. It has a couple of patches where the material inside is missing resulting in a see-through area as only the outside layers are there but regardless, I kept it as I don't want it to end up in a return warehouse.

These were thick and heavy, I loved that I could hang them easily and I’m considering getting two more to use as window treatments in the office. Audible difference in the sound floor, especially related to computer processing hums. Pair this with some egg crate foam and magic happens. I choose this Vevor because they had the best value and I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed. Two of these enclosed my vocal booth area. So far it’s also survived my cats.

Its a bit smelly at first. Not sure if its actually cutting a lot of sounds.

Incorrect dimension representation. It was not made clear in the photos, without zooming in, what the dimensions were. I ordered 3 of these to cover a vocal booth that was 8’ x4’x4’. My math was right that I would only need 3. But when it arrived the dimensions were backwards from my math. I expected 80” from grommet to floor, 96 wide. As most vocal booth builds are 80” tall. The packaging said “moving blankets”, but the listing is marketed towards vocal booth/acoustic usage. So the wrong dimensions creates a problem when using it for acoustic means. This will not wrap around a booth at the typical dimensions. It will be too long and gather on the floor and you will be missing a door covering/flap. These are very expensive considering they aren’t what they are labeled as. These are not acoustic blankets, they’re moving blankets that they put curtain loops on. They will work, but double check your dimensions first.

Gets the job done I don’t use it for recording but rather to block sound in a room in my place and works excellent at hindering sounds and keeping it inside the room 10/10 for my intended use love it worth the price and quality

Perfect gor building a sound booth for Voice Over Work. Obviously they do not block all external sound BUT they do provide a perfect echo free dry sound for recording studio quality!

It's not "soundproof," nothing ever is. But it does reduce sound transfer and that's what I wanted it for. Very satisfied.
