GELLEN Gel Top Coat and Base Coat, UV LED Lamp Needed

I bought this set to use with my generic kit. It is great! The base coat stays a little sticky, but that might be due to the low level light I have. It stays on well and the gel polish sticks to it perfectly. Definitely recommend!

I bought it for the peelable base coat because I need my nails bare and undamaged for a certification class but I can’t bare to have them bare. I work at a nail salon and own my own mobile salon. These two work so great!! If you’re worried about damaging your nails or like me want to try multiple colors and don’t care if it peels cuz you already want to try another set then get this!! I’ve bought a lot from Gellen and they have never disappointed me. The application was easy. You’ll need a uv/led lamp to dry it and hit it 1-2minutes it dries quickly like any gel polish, it’s great quality and doesn’t smell bad at all. I definitely recommend. In the picture shown you can see it peeling without taking layers of my actual nails. I have no doubt it’ll be would’ve lasted me 7days because I deep cleaned my bathroom yesterday with bleach, did laundry and they stayed on no peeling. I’m already bored so I scrapped the edge off cuz I want to try another set.

I've used many different gel top coats but this top coat is gorgeous 😍....It goes on so smoothly and the shine is just amazing. And the price for two? I mean yesss.. it's definitely a product worth buying.

So far great results! I purchased this as a blind buy hoping that this brand would live up to the reviews and product statements... Over a week with my press on (glued) nails and NO pop offs! The semi solid glue is very easy to use and locks in tightly, with no bubbles and no gap. It doesn't drip (like my liquid glue of before) and doesn't have a strong odor. a Win-Win. Last night I took them off to change the style - the remover has an angled tip, which is super helpful to dispense and release / work the softened glue. It is a bit strong, as it did "melt" the color on the edges I was working, but this set was disposable so I am not worried. IF you plan to use with a set of nails you want to reuse - dispense carefully ;) The only improvement I might suggest is a needle style tip to the remover, so you can really get into the little areas to dispense. I did have remover excess all about as the sides needed remover in order to get under the nail, and the wide angled tip only goes where it goes for its size. (-1 star BUT not a negative). All in all it is very effective! Took no time to remove and no need to soak for 20 minutes like my old style.... and no nail damage! A solid purchase, so far a great experience with a new product AND I will certainly consider buying Gellen again!

I got this gel after my original from my kit ran out. Both base coat and top coat go on smooth and without clumpiness or issue. They cure in roughly 60 seconds under a LED and do not smear or chip. After about two weeks, the base coat starts to peel up around the edges but there is no damage to the underlying nail. The top coat doesn't respond to acetone well but I found roughing up the top coat a bit with a file allows the acetone to work better.

I like the strength of the polish, it makes your nails durable. It is also very glossy, and leaves a good apex if you flip your nails for a few seconds, then cure. I will say: do NOT put it in the sun. Not even a little. Like, obviously don’t put gel polish in the sun, but it cured the bottle realll quick. It also burns a little when curing, but I don’t know if that’s just a me issue. I do like the polish, though! I will buy again.
