A blockbuster movie is given the "quality treatment"
The design of the MEDE8ER800X3D is what the MEDE8R1000X3D should have been. The saucer design of the latter does not "float anyone's boat" but now the 800 will give the POPCORNHOUR A400 a run for the money. Oh yes, video resolution and audio are perfect. I have a POPCORNHOUR A400 in my cinema room and this MEDE8R800X3D in my living room with my 65" SAMSUNG UHD CURVED 3D SMART TV and BOSE Cinemate 130 sound bar and sub. My viewing could not be better.

This was once the best media players available.....
This has to have been one of the best Multimedia Players that played basically everything that you could throw at it.The only problem with it now is that there hasn't been a firmware upgrade for it for well over 12 months and that they won't be making an upgraded version to it for UHD 4K.

Absolutely delighted with it
Absolutely delighted with it. Took a while to organize my music covers and tags to optimize it. Plays everything both audio and video that I've tried. Works perfectly with both my NAS units.
