My EDC is a $150 Benchmade. I thought it was kind of stupid using a $150 knife to open Amazon boxes so I bought this utility knife for $9. Easy to use, works great. You can use both ends of the razor blade, each blade last a year or more.

I got this for my husband as a stocking stuffer. He put it to use right away helping everyone cut through ribbons and open boxes on Christmas morning! The safety features are nice, it's a great pocket size. I did take one star off of the "easy to hold" because it is surprisingly heavy. If you're not prepared for the heft or have any kind of joint issues, it might be too heavy.

This is a very nice cutting knife. I purchased it to cut carpet across a doorway. It cut the carpet easily, and I really like that you need to push the button on the side to release the blade from the lock position. Great purchase!!

I have been borrowing Hubby’s box cutter to cut up the cardboard for my compost. It was time to buy one of my own so decided I liked this one out of all that were on Amazon. The 1st time I pressed the button to release the blade, nothing happened. Hubby pressed it and it finally let loose and it now works easily. That might be an issue to someone like me that has diminished hand strength. I am keeping this item hidden so that it doesn’t disappear into Hubby’s workshop.

Ich hatte zuerst ein Messer für fast den doppelten Preis bei einem Baumarkt gekauft, das habe ich zurück geben müssen, weil es sehr instabil war, und fast nicht zu reinigen, dieses hier ist wirklich viel stabiler. Ich habe noch keine Langzeiterfahrung damit, und auf Dauer will ich doch lieber eines wo man die Klinge heraus schieben kann, statt es aufzuklappen, aber für Arbeiten die etwas mehr Kraft erfordern, wie Spanplatten anritzen oder Teppiche exakt zuschneiden, ist das Bibury wirklich geeignet.

Das Klappmesser erfüllt seinen Zweck. Die Klinge sitzt relativ fest in der Halterung und wird mit einem Druckknopf gesichert. Ebenso wie die ausgeklappte Kling, so dass vermieden werden soll, sich zu schneiden. Das Messer liegt gut und sicher in der Hand. Man bekommt noch 10 Ersatzklingen dazu. Das Messer deckt die Einsatzbereiche eines herkömmlichen Teppichmesser/Cutter ab. Trotz der Bauart ist es kein übliches Taschenmesser oder Brotzeitmesser. Vorteil der Bauform gegenüber einem traditionellen Teppichmesser/Cutter ist hauptsächlich die kompakte Bauform.

Sehr gutes Messer mit reichlich Klingen dabei. Wer ein kompaktes Teil sucht, leicht zu handeln und wen die recht kurze Klinge nicht stört, für den ist das sehr gut geeignet. Kaufempfehlung!
